The Penguins.... well, got one point. I mean, it was an amazing comeback to take Carolina into overtime... but they were just outmatched. Carolina had a bunch of no-namers in the shootout, but in the end Ziggy Palffy missed, Lemieux looked lazy, and Crosby shot it right at the goalie. 3-2 Carolina.
That was such a great game (way better than the Calgary one). I wouldn't say the whole Hurricane team outmatched the Penguins. Carolina won because of Cam Ward. Penguins were a little crappy in the shootouts, but it really comes down to luck at that point.

Well, sadly, San Jose lost again. I can't believe that they've lost twice in a row after a perfect preseason. They really need to get their asses in gear, and now. I don't care if it's only been two games into the season.
They'll find their groove again, don't worry. Having a perfect preseason doesn't say much, especially when most of the teams are trying out different strategies and playing rookies that end up not making the team.
These real early games could be some of the most important games of the entire season.
What are you talking about? Every game is important, whether it's at the beginning or end of the season.
