Would the goalie still be credited with a shutout for the game even if he comes out on the losing end of the shootout? I'd imagine that the goalie wouldn't, since the team that wins the shootout would technically win, 1-0.
I always believed that any gaolie getting through all 65 minutes of a 0-0 game was credited with a shutout. I'm not sure if it applies to a goalie who lost in the shootout.
Drafting him or picking him up on your fantasy team? It would've been useless either way. Nolan hasn't signed on with another team this year. Until he does, it wouldn't even be a wise decision to pick him up.
I was tempted to draft him. He was about 50th rank on my list and I managed to get players higher up the list than him. (fortunately)
