Messy, messy, messy product of late night thought about my time on Newgrounds. Not entirely coherent, with a reference to Lil Wayne getting raped by Birdman at some point... Yeah.

and we began to feel them

At the same time, though
the internet had fractured
more so than before

And we lost traffic.
Near invisibility,
Same we have today

The giants smelled weaker flesh

Preyed upon, victims of greed,
with slim bank accounts

Popularity
and wallet disparity
Can be dangerous

We soon found this out
Experienced it first hand
with the usual threats

Our portals, gold mines
to richer, malicious eyes
We'd soon pay for it

Labels wanting cash
Royalties for samples used
They say, cash or die

Now one could argue
record labels have a right
to take down our site

... if, and only if
NG was for pirating,
not fresh creations

But labels see cash
and cash only; copyright
and violations

because of this farce,
We are clipped and neutered
Many classics gone

Copyrighted crap,
now grounds for crap deletion
Else, goodbye Newgrounds!

Be subject to this

Fate unwise to fight

Thus bullies won out
Got their money-grubbing way
while we saved our skins

But what's worse, you say?
