Well, Adobe prices are the same (I think) but in most stores, Mac is cheaper (usually but that always depends on how mean the shop owner is) , but the availability seems to be less common. But Macs are more expensive when you buy them, but you are paying for speed and convenience (Thank god for spell check). I bought mine off eBay, but I looked through a couple of shops first before realizing I had more important things to spend money on (Like Warcraft) and just went for eBay. My version works perfectly and it was hassle free buying it. The shops I looked in either had the Mac or PC version, not both, so it entirely depends on discounts and store prices. So there you are. A completely unconclusional, long, boring, stupid and pointless post about how some shops are cheaper than others.

You misunderstand me. First of all, it was a joke. It wasn't very funny, but it was a joke. Second, I already have a mac, we are talking about flash for the mac. Anyway, my uncle gave my dad a mac and my whole family can use it. I's an X-Demo 6G iMac. 2GB RAM, 360GB ROM, and we have an external hard drive for time machine. I'm using another iMac I bought for £50 (G3) off eBay.

Excited about learning something new
I have been afraid of learning A* for quite some time now. I don't understand why though, I guess I would just watch the examples of it in use and deciding it would be too difficult. A stupid reason, I know.
Anyway, I decided to give it another try today and read this tutorial about it and guess what? It's not really that difficult. I managed to learn pretty quickly.
I love me for learning that and I'm so excited to put in use in games.

I had to repurchase flash when I got a mac because of the same problem.
Luckily I called adobe and they sent me a free copy of flash 8 assuming that I would "destroy" my old flash mx.
