Wowz0rs, I just switched from a 20" iMac to a 24" iMac. Now, I know people have probably been saying this since 11" monitors, but I can't see how computer monitors can be any bigger than this and still remain practical. It's humongous! Now I can finally place my main stage next to the coding panel and use both at the same time, without having to switch windows!

I can beat that :P. I've got one 22" and one "15, so in total a 37" screen (kind of :P). So i can animate/draw/design on my big screen and do all the coding on the left. It's a great setup, if you've got an old 15" lying around, i'd reccomend it.

I can hook mine up to my 32" Full-HD TV :p. But such a large screen with only a 1920-1200 resolution sucks monkey balls for anything other than watching films or playing games, so I'll just manage with this. I can't fit an extra screen on my desk anyways. :)
It is compulsory to watch the following short video:

no, the proportions are different.
I have a 19" 4:3 and 22" 16:10. I often use the 22" to play games, while having google chrome, vlc, or flash on the 19". very useful.
it also leaves a lot of space for /b/ tabs :p
Yeah I'm so slow. Just bought Castle Crashers.
Its amazing :P

totally worth it. portal is by far the best puzzle game i have ever played.
half life 2 and 3 (part 1 and 2) are just icing on the cake, and team fortress 2 is quite good as well.
probly one of the best investments in a game you will have for a long time.

That is the Orange Box with Portal, Half Life and stuff right?
Cause I loved portal

Yeah, i realised, i just couldn't be bothered to add the pixel res's together :P.

Great games, really great. HL2 is great (although slightly aged), portal is superb in both humor, design, story and gameplay and tf2 is also awesome with all the updates. Probably the most milage i've gotten from a game in eons.

Orange box is tf2, Portal, and HL2 with episode 1 and episode 2. You can get it for 10 bucks this weekend, that has to be the best price ever for a package of 5 amazing games.

Even with identical pixel ratio you can't just add up their diagonals. A 4:3 20" screen (meaning 20" diagonal) doesn't have the same surface area as two 4:3 10" screens.

i'd say for more realism have the moths fly away every now and then or fly off to a different light.
also i'm thinking of making a game with someone based off of the civil war, using your song. (not mine)
my problem is this:
should i be controversial and have you play as the confederates, shooting the enemy and knifing black slaves
or
should i be goody two shoes and have you play as the other guys (dunno there names) and have you shoot the confederates and free black slaves in their cages?
i dunno too much about american history since im canadian though, i just know its a lot more interesting then canadian history.

They do, the key to bug AI is to keep it simple since bugs are dumb, so they fly around almost aimlessly with a small force attracting them in the direction of the greatest change in light

Actually moths have a pretty cool navigation mechanism. It worked fine for all of the millenia when the only major sources of light were in the sky and effectively located at infinity and don't change significantly in position as they move, but since artificial light and such there's effectively a massive glitch in their programming which means that they end up spiralling towards them. Very sad.
