Why do I have the sinking feeling that you are right. As much as I am looking forward to the new icons, I fear the chaos they will bring. The last thing we will need is more hand icons. I am nearing level eleven on this account and already there on another, I hate it with a passion. Level eleven is one of the worst level icons in my opinion. I just want to fly through it and get to level twelve. Even though it is a hand icon, it is a lot better.

I really like what we have seen of the new levels, but who knows how far through the lsit those will be. We could get stuck with ten different versions of the lollipop for all we know. I am not looking forward to it. We have always needed new ones, I just hope it was better thought out than what they are trying to do to forum sigs. Some of the ideas they are throwing out there are starting to worry me.

Personaly I like the forums, and the site, the way it is now. Aside from the mindless group of morons posting on it, I do not see a problem. Everything I have heard is "streamline this, streamline that". I think it is going to look very futuristic, and not in a good way. I know they know what they are doing, I just feel users should have had more of a say in it. We, after all, are the ones who use the site most.

Just like with anywhere else, it is the users that make it what it is. If everyone just stopped what they do, there would be nothing left. Newgrounds really should have incorporated more user involment with the changes. I know they get activity from the users here in various ways, such as monthly voting, so why not with this? We have all been kept in the dark on thwe whole subject, it shouldn't be that way.

Not knowing what is going to happen until they throw it at us really sucks. Look at when they changed the banner buttons. That, although minor, had many flaws when it originaly hit. It just seems as though it would make more sense to ask users first, rather than try to fix it after. Why make more work for themselves when it is not needed? The whole things seems very strange to me.

Hey guys ... since it's the elite guard barrack here ... may be we could start thinking about blamming the Crap Crews submissions don't you think ? I can't do it alone ... and god know there has something to be done about it ...

As a member of the group (I guess I still am ... unless you erase members after a certain inactivity length), I'll respect the rules and won't post opinion on crews, but I won't restrain myself from posting my opinion about the Barrack.

Just what the hell is that neutrality shit ? There's a very big difference between asking our members to stay objective toward the flashes they vote on and asking all of 'em to shut up if they have an opinion about anything that regards the entries in the portal. The big problem with the actual crews is that they post submissions that the ng admins wouldn't want to pass the quality thresold (I'm not posting my opinion here, only the admins'). Why do they pass ? two reasons : mass voting from their members and irresponsible voting from the B/P points starving users. The first one is a big problem related with the emergence of crews while the second might even affect members of this crew. Nevertheless, these are unfair behaviors that engender unfair and unwanted consequences. Is the Barrack just a name or it's gonna do something for the portal goddammit ?

I'm not asking you to vote 0 on all crew movies, I'm asking you to pay special attention to them since they're benifiting abnormal immunity. It's our duty and responsibility to balance back the portal so it won't lose it's interest in the eyes of the submitters and the voters.

So no matter what we do, its wrong. We can't decide to vote 0 on those Kitty crew flashes because by doing we would be mass-voting and would give the mods an excuse to put us out of business, but if someone decides to protect those movies, Wade's probably going to get pissed ecause a bunch of crappy movies passed judgment..

it seems there's no right choice in this situation.
