I've cleaned the thread up a bit to remove drunken ramblings and a bunch of comments of people adding that even they too took screenshots etc.
Considering the desire to bring attention to a problem by talking about it, all the random +1s of "I took a screenshot of (I hope the thread full of screenshot comments and not the subject matter)" makes a pile of notifications for the mods to have to read through in sequence to follow the story, particularly those who have thread notifications on. The 28 posts I took down were 28 notifications which make the important things get lost in the noise.
For reference, usually flagging and tossing an @/PM to staff/relevant mods who are online sorts things. In the more illegal submission realm casting a wider PM to mods helps more than a ton of @ to just Tom who already gets probably dozens of mentions/PM a day. Many mods have each other and Tom on discord etc which can be more timely for those type of removals.
Also someone making a report on a separate rulebreaking item is not less valid than whatever the crisis of the week happens to be.
