What is with the UU stuff that is comming into the portal...they are really bad flash videos that go underjudgment and still make it onto the portal... 9 out of 10 of them have an average score of 0.00 in the reviews however tehy end up wit 2.00.. is anyone else gettin annoyed at this?

You can't have 15.0 X 10. The maximum B/P bonus is + 60%

yeah even i have a 5.80 vote power.. that just makes u feel like ur lowerin it... but its insaine wat gets through... i believe they are makin it through for 2 reasongs... one is the semi decent start up that all UU members get... the second is that every UU member (im guess about 20 maybe more i dunno) hav elike 5 vote power as well and give it a 5... that woudl be like 100 votes to 5 wich could save about any flash considerin it sliek wat 200 votes to get into the portal. so even if the other hundred voted 0 that would level off at around 2.50 .... its really gay... they found a loop hole in teh grounds gold system... everyone has thought of it ... but the dam uu people did it

Another problem is that on some of the crappier flashes, the voting button never appears.
They get through because most people expect them to be mass voted in so they vote 5 for the protection point.

I see the users who are voting 5 on these entries. Many of you would recognize their usernames if I posted them. Maybe I should reset their expereince, blam, and protection points back to 0? the point of them having these points is because they are supposed to be experience users who have been given extra power to help filter the portal. However, these users are abusing their power to push through utter crap. Should we reset their points?

BTW, I encourage everyone to watch the UU entries, and we need to be fair and watch them through to see if there is anything good. If it's just crap after their pretty intro, vote 0 and blam the thing. They aren't passing by much, so more users just need to take the time to watch them through, and if they are crap, blam them.

I'm just a hardcore lurker, i finally decided to get active with an account once i saw how bad the Portal was getting.
But besides the UU, their's alot more bullshit that sneaks on through... why is the portal so easy?

That is a good idea but it is really harsh.... i mean i kno i would be pissed off... but i mean i went thru teh history of ng and al lthat and the golds ground system is really BA... no one should fuck with it... i cant even think of a way to prevent this but maybe if u make a show out of this it will keep others from doing it... i dunno hwo to publically lower their scores... maybe make a good flash and put it on the portal about it.... cus UU and Kitty Krew have popped up in i dunno 2 weeks more or less.. who knows wat else is to come... its just a waste of ng space.. and potentially a waste of NG money if u kno wat i mean

Maybe it should be said in the FAQ/rules that constant unfair voting will get your stats reset, before just rushing in. I'd imagine some people would get pissy.
Well, we may have to start taking action against the users who are using their status on the site to abuse the site. That's not why we give them extra voting power. The point was, we expected users who have been with us longer, and have aquired more stats, to do a better job when it comes with voting on entries, etc. If they are just going to abuse their extra voting power, we're going to have to take it away from them.

most of the people voting 2 probably remember the whole "vote 2" fiasco.
but yeah, you should just reset the high level accounts. if they want to be dummies, they should have to pay like dummies.
yeah i understand that but... if u just change the rules in teh FAQs and or just reset their scores... no one is gonna know about it... sept the people who do it.. but i doubt kittykrew and UU members are th same people... thing is it will stay if people dont kno wats going on.. even if u eliminate the origional people... it will continue to grow and new members will add to the collection... thast why im sayin u shoudl prob consider changin the rules... but makin it publically notable.... and while ur at it with that u coudl probably publically make a note to other problems on NG or loop holes...
"Forcing" responsible vote can be a good idea, but may be you could also prohibit the use of Crew/Collab intros too ? A tag is ok, but intros are used in an abusive way ...
i like the idea of a blam crew... it could be abused tho.. maybe if there was a rigorus test and a very bad consequence for abusin it ... it woudl work tho.. cus u kno fear of somethign happenin keeps us from doing that thing.. i e ... the nuclear bombs :P ....
