Actually Exedor, I whole-heartedly disagree with you.
And I wholeheartedly agree with you, Lizzardis.
That is literally not what we're about. We want to give each submission a fair assessment. You can't just discriminate against a certain type of submission because it's rated A. I wouldn't mind, some of these NSFW submissions are actually pretty well made. The couple of games I've seen come through are quite good, and even the couple of minute montages of furries or characters fucking, are actually really well made.
This doesn't mean that they should immediately be given a 0 score. You're forgetting, Adult content has seen a MASSIVE spike in the past 10, or even 5 years due to more people having access to the technology required to produce it. Now literally anybody can create a sexy scene with their favourite characters, and that isn't a bad thing.
Exactly, this may not be your way of working but I, as someone who reviews, go to painstaking lengths to make sure my vote is honest. Seriously. It van take me a long-ass time. Because I know for every blam I don't really mean I'm dooming a submission forever. I'm discouraging someone. Now, yes, 2 second loops would probably get a 0 or 1 from me, but giving a 0 to "any A rated anything" is just ridiculous. You can't judge a submission some way because you personally don't like a trend/concept that is completely allowed and has been allowed since Newgrounds was founded. You're not judging a submission by its quality, you're judging it by your personal agenda and that, my comrade-in-arms, is a form of zero-bombing. Yes, I sometimes give Madness tests 0s instead of 0.5s when I'm not sure it deserves a 0.5 because we gotta discourage those, but that's because they're not finished works. I don't go through tests and mass 0-bomb without looking at them.
It's not our job to discriminate. It's our job to give each submission a fair review & to flag anything that is deemed inappropriate. I seriously think you shouldn't start spreading the idea of immediately giving a 0 on a specific type of submission & keep things like that to yourself if you're so hell bent on doing it. Blamming a submission should be based on quality & a number of other factors. Not just because the submission does not fit your personal taste.
Yes. I have discovered this place has some... unwritten rules that are to be enforced but not revealed to people.
This place is not a blam club. Period.
True. This behavior is not the kind of example the EGB (especially its moderators) should set.
