If you are looking for like a romantic suspense novel (i kno, i kno)... but it is REALLY good. Get Jeams Patterson's 'Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas'.
It is so suspensful... and soooo sad.
Patterson usually writes mystery thrillers so thats why i picked it up, but even though i was dissapointed to find it be a romance, it was worth the money. Really good read. Not very light at times though.

Hey, sorry if we ignored. Sometimes i come back and dont bother reading all the posts that i had missed.
I would like it if you went back to the writer's guild and posted your concept. Also, post how long your chapters should be (estimiation ((words per chapter))) and generally how many chapters you would like to have.
I am quite curious to know.
I am on my 13 chapter of my novel which i started in September. It is about 31 chapters long. I wouldn't mind discussing our concepts with each other. A second opinion can always be a help.

P.S. What is the genre of the novel?

Ok Coop, that sounds like my cup of tea (pun intended :) ) I will check that out.

I recently bought, the Salmon of Doubt, by Douglas Adams, its not a follow up or anything to H2G2 but its sort of a mix of all the things he was working on when he died a few years back, so sad, cut short in his prime. I cant bloody find my book though... I read the first few chapters a few nights back put it beside my bed then when i look for it again, its not there, bugger.

First page you mean? If so.. i'll check. Otherwise.. i dun wanna be lookin for it. Re-post it if you forget what page it is on. I only check this club once and a while... but, i like it, you have my support anyway. I hope the Writer's Guild still has your mate.

Cheers,

Like I did with you, when you've finished chapter 1, email it to me and I'll give it the old once over. Feedback is always good, even if it knocks you down at times.

Salmon of Dounht? I read it, it's not really worth it. It's mostly for hardcore Adams fans.

Try getting American Gods by Neil Gaiman. A guy gets out of prison, meets Odin, and gets caught up in his plan to wage war on the new gods.

Yeah super fans are annoying. One of my mates used to be a huge Marilyn Manson super fan and he was really annoying.

Anyway I like mixed types of music.

Yeah same here.....more mixed rock music than music in general but I like alot of Classical and orchestral music aswell........anyway think we should gte back on topic?

Get Jeff Wayne's 'War of the Worlds'. Amazing ochestrated music. And the story that it tells is quite entertaining as well.
If you download it.. you'll prolly have to get it in 2 parts its about 1 hour 30 mins long. lol.
However, it is amazing when u crank it up. There are a couple small sections that i dont fancy all that much, but there are parts i absolutely love. You have to listen to it all (not all at one time) to fully decide what u like and what u dont. Because some parts start slow then end up breathtaking.
If you downlaod make sure you get Jeff Wayne's version... not the Olles or any other version. Jeff wayne's is by far the best!

War of the worlds. Such a good book. Did you hear the story about when they broadcasted it on American Radio and most of the country went into panic, as if they were really under attack from aliens.

Just goes to show, doesn't it.

Well because when they read the book on the radio, they started it like it was a real radio announcement, and it was a time when people were paranoid about such things.
