I got this nice salad container with a compartment for snacks on the top of it, and a place for salad dressing or dipping sauces in the middle.
I made a salad for work with lettuce, cheese, tomato, pepperoni and French dressing. I had pickles as a snack and put those in the top compartment, along with the tomato so my salad wouldn't get soggy.
I'd love to buy a few more of these, so I don't have to worry about cleaning them after each salad.

What kind of sick fuck puts pepperoni on a salad? Did your stoner instincts kick in or something?

I like pepperoni on my salad. I like "chef salads."

Not vegan, but I've stuck to a vegetarian diet for the past 2 months. Originally I just wanted to see how easy or difficult it would be to remove meat from my diet and I've decided to stick with it. It's really not as challenging as I thought it would be. One thing I do miss is fish. I used to eat a lot of tuna and mackerel. Have considered going pescetarian instead, but still undecided.
I bought a vegetarian recipe book and make things listed in there from time to time but I still haven't been all that adventurous. I do a lot of vegetable stir fry type meals, home made pizza, soups etc. It's all pretty straight forward stuff with ingredients that tend to keep for a while.

I did "meatless Mondays" once as a project in college, and that was definitely doable for someone who's just starting out or tampering with the idea of being vegetarian.
On vacation this week I decided to eat at two new restaurants during my trip, since I was living out of a hotel room and a suitcase.
The first, was "Kelsey's Soul Food" -- I went here when I wasn't incredibly hungry, but the rest of the party was. I had a delicious side salad with french dressing, mac n cheese, and cole slaw. They had things on the menu the T-Bone, and fried cod, and ribs. The atmosphere was really cool, with dim lighting and soul music. I was definitely the minority.
On my way home, I ate at a joint called "Eat'n'Park" -- I had a buffalo chicken wrap and home fries. It was delicious.
Also, I had "Ace Brewery" Pineapple cider and it was the most delicious tasting alcohol cider I've ever had.

You put some Southwest spicy mustard, and some chili or relish on it, and you can't even tell the difference.
I've still haven't tried any imitation meat products. Might have to check some of that stuff out next time I go shopping.
Was going to bake a banana loaf today, went and bought some caster sugar especially for it, got home and realised I didn't have enough flour left. I seem to make banana loafs fairly regularly, usually because I buy a bunch of bananas and never end up eating them. Perfect way to get rid of old bananas.
Banana nut muffins and milk for dessert last night.

venison burrito
venison
pinto beans
picante sauce
mexicorn w/ my own diced tomatoes added in
lettuce
shredded cheese
sour cream

I don't eat on the toilet, if that's what you're thinking. That would be the dream, but it's for bolder men than I.
What's wrong with the toilet? That's where I get my guests drinking water from. (If I hate them.)

Today is my last day of eating meat. As of tomorrow I will be a vegetarian. So tonight I'm going to have a feast.

Vegetarian and vegan are 2 separate things. Also, I have my reasons.

Yep! They're Morel mushrooms. They grow in my parents yard every year and my dad fries them up.
