I play bass for a metal band simlar to the style of metallica ( I think). We haven't decided on a style to play it for sure. That's all I know. We need a name for the band. I can't think of anything really good though. Any onf you guys have some ideas?

Ok, are you just a dumbass or what? (no offense). First of all there are many genres of metal, such as industrial and Nu-metal. KoRn is Nu-Metal, in fact they fukin invented it! I belive that Linkin Par is NOT metal, because they are more pop rock.

You dont think I like underground bands?

What the hell do you think Skinny Puppy, 9mm and Mr Pill are considered. I bet you never even heard of them, because they dont even have a cd yet.

You thought Alice Cooper was a girl?

Just because of that I cant take your opinion seriously (LOL). I hope you dont take me to seriously, I dont mean to argue, but I just wanted to say this.

I didn't know Pink Floyd was considered Metal, I thought they were Rock. If I would of known that, I would of added them to my list, because they fuckin rock!

Response to Metal Hell 2004-08-27 13:11:47

Welcome to the fold, blitz-ace. A few more bands you like?

The quiet place? It's not bad, but I prefer many other songs on their new album a lot more(Borders and Shading, as an example, or My Sweet Shadow)

I was just wondering, is there another band like Pantera? Like a band that plays managed to make a heavy kind og music wothout making it death or black metal. I'm under the impression that Sepultura resemble Pantera, is that so?

pantera rocks one of my socks off, but sepultura rocks them both off! download rattamahata the song, or the album. but whats fuckin' great about these is that there screamin' this brazilian at you and they take almost all the drums away and replace it with african percussion. it rocks in a kind of dirrerent mult-cultural way...

Hey guys! I was just wondering how everyonje is doing. It seems we have a couple new members. Did anyone let that Pinky person in. I'm not high enough in the chain to let him, but he/she can join as far as I'm concerned.

So it seems that our new members are more Mallcore (hahahaha I like that) than me. Well guys I like all those bands alot too, but the guys around here are more into more "underground" stuff. Try bands like Soilwork, In Flames, ill Nino and one of my personal favorites (some might say they suck) Mushroomhead. Those are all good bands IMO that you guys would probably like.

Yep, it's a great one. Just heard it and it rocks. It's not heavy and you can't mosh to it but it is good.
