No wonder you didn't like it. Way too extreme to start off with.
Plus that's all sludge anyway. Real stoner includes bands like Kyuss, Fu Manchu, the Dessert Sessions, Electric Wizard (overlaps with sludge, but pretty cool)
Check out those bands instead.
Here I am, bored with everything.

If I were to write songs about my settings, it'd be boring and nobody would listen to it. People write songs to escape their miserable, pathetic excuses for a life because modern society has sucked all the fun out of living.
In other words, quit being such an ignorant and dense prick.
There's no problems with writing a song about past events or mythologies, but it has to be done right. 3 Inches of Blood do it in a completely amusing manner.
An even better example would be the finest song written based off Tolkien's stories and world, better than Rhapsody, better than Symphony X, better than Blind Guardian.
Leonard Nimoy's Ballad of Bilbo Baggins. It's true to the source material and doesn't push itself too far towards the ludicrous.

I shall indeed.

To be metal is to be ridiculous. That's kinda the whole point. Larger than life and shit. And since when is Sx tolkien based?

All power metal is about wizards sucking off hobbits while riding on unicorns to dragon dens.
Fact.

Michael Romeo is too fat to ride on a unicorn.

That's cool, because Sx don't make power metal. At least not the kind Fatboy's talking about.

Wow, Torture Squad is amazing! Thanks for showing me this!
Although, I couldn't find anything by Hypnosia. I'll try them again later.
Apologies aren't what I look for. Redemption is what I want!

The only one I have is For Victory, and it has some really good songs on it
bolt thrower's best albums are 'In Battle there is no law' and 'War Master'
the latest album 'Those once loyal' is also good, and probably good to check out if you want to get into BT, since they've got a hard accesibility.

Once I saw how much better Safari worked, I deleted Firecox immediately.

Hey people, this ain't the Internet browser fanclub, we're here to talk about metal, BTW has anyone heard a panamian thrash group called "Cabeza de Martillo" (Hammerhead)??? if you hadn't check em out here
For those who haven't, get the song Decay (Symptoms of Kali Yuga) by Sunn 0))). It has guest vocals by Attila Csihar, which consist of undead-like, ghastly, low pitched singing. The whole song is really unnerving and disturbing, which should go over well with this crowd. It's about the end of the world. He is backed up by guitar feedback, sitars, rushing winds, and low pitched choirs.

Which album is it on?
I have Black 1 which has It took the Night to Believe on it, which is also creepy, but it has the guy from Leviathan doing vocals, which he recorded in a coffin.
