I'm gonna have to disagree on that one.
They recently picked up Brett Hull and a few other good players.
They're a young team and all they can do is improve
true they have young players how about them sabres there like the red sox cant seem to win one more
damnit we need a new topic STATBOY i dont wanna preesure yeah into it but Fuck i cant think of a topic

I'm picking the coyotes to do well, because of the Hull factor, plus they ahve Gretzky on the board. They aren't going to win it all, but they will be respectable.

Neither can I. You need to think of some more yourself. Anyone else got any ideas?

I'd have to say Scottie Bowman. He's been around for a hell of a long time and he did great things for the Red Wings. A close second would be an old favorite of mine, Pat Quinn, excluding the past five or so years.
bowman was an alrite couch but i like mark crawford

I'd have to agree with you on that. He had the right mentality to stand behind the bench game in, game out just chewing his way through whole cups of ice and letting his team do it's talking on the ice. He had the player's respect and he made the Red Wings into one of the best teams you see today.

oh yeah the redwings are an alrite team but the players are d-bags i think

With a few notable exceptions. Brett Hull (Former Red Wing) is a great player and not in the slighteat a douchebag. You've been crawling up his arse, ever since he signed for Phoenix, why should that change him.
Steve Yzerman. Stevie Y is the Red Wings over the past 20 years. He's a gritty, determined player who gives everything he has for the club to win it all. (Nearly lost an eye in the last playoffs, after taking a puck in the eyesocket, scratching his cornea nad breaking his eye-socket)
Nik Lidstrom. He's one of the nicest guys in the NHl, plus he plays hard and is a finalist if not the winner of the James Norris Tropy anually.
Need I say more?

no im on his ass ever since he betrayed canada in the 2002 olypics he would of got gold

That's his fault. Canada still won, isn't that what really matters? On that token, I could say the same about Patrick Roy, who chose to go and watch his son play pee-wee hockey in a tournament, rather than try to get a gold medal for his country.
Man that guy must love his son to miss an olympic chance to go watch your son play hockey hes a kinda fool but a great goalie gee hes awesome do know who i used to love as a goalie herbert for the ducks he was kool ne1 agree he played for team america too in the olympics ages ago. P.s did ne1 see that girl stuff up the word of the anthem and then stack it on the ice lol how embarrassing

Of course I'm right!
I've gotta know everyone's position on the CBA. Comissioner Bettman says that the NHL isn't going to open on time if there is no new CBA with the players. I'm in favour of using replacement players, just so we can see some quality hockey at the moment.

Well He should be let back in all he did was get revenge on steve moore for beating on Marcus Nasland

Moore may never again play in the NHL because of Bertuzzi's pre-meditated actions. There's a rumor about if Moore can't come back from his injuries, then Bertuzzi will not get reinstated ever again. At least that's what Moore's side is wanting.
true he took it to far but Moore is being a douche about it just settle for a some of money man thats what i think
I think Bertuzzi should be let back in. He had no intention of snaping the dudes neck.
And besides, I witnessed a colorado player sttempt to do the same thing to a San Jose player in the playoffs.
Same intentions, different results.

Well, since I live twenty minutes outside of downtown Vancouver, I have a biased opinion on the matter. I think he should be let back in. He's is a very skilled player, one of the top power forwards in the league in fact. I don't think that he should be banned from playing for good.
In fact, I don't believe that it was Bertuzzi who actually caused the neck fracture. I'll admit that he most likely gave Moore the concussion, but his neck was fractured in the pile-up after the hit.
Anyway, stuff like this has happened before. Remember Marty McSorley? He was charged with assault for that incident and if my memory serves me correctly he was allowed to play again. I think that Bertuzzi should be allowed to play once again, but he should have his salary cut by a certain amount, say 30%, with the money going to Moore or charity or something like that.

I'll take the credit for my good grammar in any way, shape or form. Since I'm writing a book, I need good grammar all the time.

Which was caused by Todd Bertuzzi jumping on the by now unconciouse Steve Moore's back. The other players ran in to break it up.

As an Avs fan, I'm dissapointed about how Steve Moore might not play again, but I think that Bertuzzi should be allowed to play again. Maybe the NHL should ensure he has a full season as his suspension (Including the 10-20 games he missed at the end of 03-04) and then I think he should resume playing.

Well true i mean if moore doesn't play tuzzi might not play and theres a good chance moores lawyers might bend the truth his neck could fully recover and the lawyers might ask him to keep his neckbrace on during the trial but who knows right

Let him serve some time off the ice, when the NHL finally resumes playing. It doesn't seem right that he counts the lockout as part of his suspension, because no-one's playing. He will serve a suspension period when we resume, but it shouldn't be more than a whole season.
true STATBOY it wont make any differance if hes on another suspention i mean if he does go on a suspention hockey may or may not be around

But I hope that he, like all the rest of the NHLers, gets another chance to play, before they become too old to consider playing Hockey again.
