Maybe I should just put an 'A' on my left breast. That would soon cure problems

I'd have though you knew that. The A, meaning assistant captain in Hockey terms. Usually worn by 2 players in the squad, with one designated captain, wearing the C.

Maybe it'll end when you quit your horrible posting habit and stop bumping your threads without any substantial reason to do so.

Brutal, but true.

Anyway. I'm just recently coming to terms with the lockout.
While another season of no hockey would dissapoint me, I'm prepared to deal with it

You have a one track mind, Bone Thug

On a side note, I've just about reached playoff time in my NHL 2004 game. Colorado have the best record in the NHl with 65 wins. Detroit's Brett Hull has the most Goals and points, with 200+ points when he's in the twilight of his career. In his heyday, he only scored 131 points as his best, so the game isn't really balanced.

I'm the best candidate for rookie of the year, with my best mate coming a distant third or fourth (He did miss 30 games due to injury though)

Which team do you think will do the WORST when hockey resumes?

I think the team which has the LEAST players under contract at the moment will struggle. This might change, due to things like retirement, contract expiry (End of what should have been 2004-05 season) and the fact that un-contracted players are going to create a merry-go-round like no other.

It'll be fun to watch.

What do you guys think of my Goaltending duo? David Aebischer and Dan Blackburn. I had to pay Paul Kariya to the Rangers for him, but I think he's worth it.

I think I have Miika and Khabibulan between the pipes on my team.
I'll post a full roster later.
(we are talking videogames, right?)

That's a none-too-shabby platoon. Who's your first choice? Miika (Kiprusoff, I presume) sounds like more of a backup, but when the Bulin wall retires, you can move him up a notch and draft a good youngster.

I'm playing the Dynasty game, so I've got another 19 seasons after this one to go.
