Hav'nt done this in a while and this ones short.

I remember the days when Canadians like myself where idolized in wrestling. Bret Hart, and Owen Hart were at the top of their game. They would kick the unholy shit out of everyone they faced. Aided by their buddy the British Bull Dog (R.I.P) things where only looking up. Then before you knew it. Owen has to kill himself doing a stunt. I was sad at first of course, but i don't think it really accured to me what happend intill RAW that following night when all the stars were out...all of them despite their defrences at the time... all were out for a moment of silence for thier lost colege, partner, and friend. They rung a bell three times in his honor. Later that night The Rock payed his respects and Stone Cold did too in his own beer drinking way.

Canada's still got it's good ( Jericho, Benoit ) and bad, but i don't think it will ever have talent like it had there at that time.

I remember that night, I was very upset the entire night of the PPV. I was kinda angry that they kept on going, but the show must go on. The next night they made it clear that it was a tribute, all fueds and storylines left to the side in honor of Owen..

There are still plenty of Canadian stars around, you forgot to mention Lance Storm.

as for the fox deal, they want to be up by june or so. They will probably drop the weekly PPV, and do a more traditional scheduel. They may also get a deal to shoot events at Universal Studios, but again that may or may not happen.

I would watch it, depnding on what days/times they air it. I'd love to see guys like AJ Styles and people I haven't seen in a long time like Raven , D'lo and Jeff Jerret.

1.John Bradshaw Layfield segment rating:***1/2
A decent segment, I missed the begining because I was coming home after I went to the doctor. The part I saw was Bradshaw talking to Eddie.
2.Dudley Boyz vs Rikishi & Scotty 2 Hotty rating:***
A good non-title tag match. I loved the way the Dudleyz preformed
in this match.
3.Chavo Guerrero vs Jamie Noble rating:***
A good cruiserweight match. Both Chavo & Noble did great in this match. Chavo won at the end to retain the Cruiserweight title.
4.John Cena vs Danny Basham rating:***1/2
Before the match, John Cena rapped about Rene Dupree and his dog Fifi. Anyway, This match was decent. Nothing special about
it. But John Cena won at the end.
5.Rob Van Dam & Booker T vs Charlie Haas & Big Show rating:***
It was cool to see RVD & Booker T reunite after they lost their last match on RAW against RIc Flair & Batista. But Booker T walked out during the match. Turning it into a 1 on 2 Handicap match.
Charlie Haas & Big Show won at the end.
6.Rene Dupree vs Orlando Jordan rating:**
Could've been better. But one problem, It was short. I usually don't like short matches. Rene Dupree won at the end.
7.Spike Dudley vs Johnny Stamboli rating:**1/2
I thought it was going to be a match between Spike Dudley & Theodore Long. But Teddy Long says that Spike's opponent is Johnny Stamboli. I didn't really like this match. I thought Johnny Stamboli was going to win the match. But for some strange reason, Spike used the Dudley Dog on Johnny Stamboli to win.
But then, Mark Jindrak comes out and attacks Spike Dudley!
8.Great American Award segment rating:***1/2
A decent segment to end Smackdown. Kurt Angle calls out all the Great American award nominees. But when John Bradshaw Layfield comes out, A video plays staring John Bradshaw Layfield
in a Blair Witch Project spoof. After it ends, Kurt angle says that the winner of the Great American Award is John Bradshaw Layfield. But the Great american award is actually fake when Bradshaw discovers a photo of Eddie Guerrero in the trophy.
Eddie comes out with the real great american award. But after eddie entered the ring, He destroyed the GAA with a Steel Chair!

I thought Spike did ok, it's a hell of a lot better than what he was doing on raw..

I have a feeling that rene is going to beat John cena for the US title soon. OH and booker T and RVD turned into a 1 on 2 match? Who was left RVD or Booker T

Bradshaw is suprising me more and more with his mic skills....but he has yet suprise me in the ring...

I really really am beging to hate the fact that it seems WWE is pressuring all there competitors to where tights....i mean come on the bashams had some great pance.....and so did Noble....and bubba ray.....lets face it short shorts arent his look....that fat bastard needs to cover up.....

Thuggin and Buggin....i wasent looking foward to seeing Spike vs. Teddy Long....lets face it Spike is only good when he get the living shit stomped outta him....we got to see that twice tonight....

Orlando Jordan seems to have lost every match i have seen him in.....why is his talent going to waste by using him as a whipping boy for slightly bigger names....all Tazz did while OJ was coming out was give him props and than he gets spancked.....

I really like the Dudleyz but i really hate how they are constantly getting pushed....although i do think that the human fat factory (Rikishi) has alot of potential to once again be a main eventer and that Scotty2Hotty deserves a run in the cruiserwight division i dont think they should give up the titles just yet.....its not fair that the dudleyz come to smackdown and dominate every team....

i'm liking the new Booker T angle and i think RVD is also far over due for a heel turn....he was a great heel for a while in ECW he can pull it off in WWE.......
