My favorite match of all time was the TLC match between The Dudleys, The Hardys and Edge and Christian. I wanted the hardys to win, but Edge N Christian won instead. The part when Jeff swantaned off the ladder was awesome.

The best part is that it happened just 20 minutes away from where I live.

yeah TLC ranks up there in my favorite matches list..The Hell ni the Cell with Mankind, and a few others are on that list as well..the list in my mind!

The hell in the cell with the Taker anf Mankind is one of my favorites also. Mankind was slamed through the cell.

I heard the Benoit vs. Angle at Royal Rumble was pretty good, I never saw it though. I guess I'll download it today after school on Kazaa.

Is it just me or does anyone think that wwe's recent failures are do to the fact that everyone changes from face to heel so quikly. I know that a lot of the people from back in the day are gone, but people change their gigs so much. One minute their a member of some sucky group and the next they're everyones favorite because they can do flips when they fight. We have most of the big stars from the ol days still around and onlty the Taker and Stone Cold have been true to there morals. Kurts a happy GM. Kanes a ugly no real match freak. Even Trish changed really quik.
Not all of it's bad. I like the attention some of the stars are getting but i just miss it.

I think the wwe needs to stick to the wrestling. Get rid of this split bullshit and have about 4-5 belts only. Heavy weight belt, light, tag, womens and a fan favorite like hardcore or what not. Then reinvent the charecter and have them stay with a certain attitude untill something big happens. Then they can change.

I'm not really saying how much they change from face to heel is what bugs me. It's when people start to like a superstar a certain way or charector and then they keep changing him. Sure theres going to be people that like him the other way, but he'll change again in a few weeks. It's worse when they do it to a wrestler a lot of people like.

i agree..though it's ok to give more depth to a character, and expand how he/she acts.

I just hope they start pushing the US title as something worthwhile..it was being hurt with the lack of defenses by the big show.

Remember Gillberg? That was a funny gimmick, but bad for the lighweight title at the time..

1.Kurt Angle segment rating:***
A good segment to start off the show. Angle says that he will make Smackdown a better show. Then angle announces an award called "The Great American Award." After that angle says
that the winner of the GAA will be the Number one contender for the WWE title.
2.Big Show vs Rikishi rating:***1/2
A decent GAA match. Big show won at the end to get nominated.
3.Rey Mysterio & Spike Dudley vs Chavo Guerrero & Chavo Guerrero Sr rating:***
A good tag team match. Both Mysterio & Spike did good in this match. After the match, John Bradshaw Layfield came out and attacked both Mysterio & Spike!
4.Rob Van Dam vs Charlie Haas rating:***
It was better than last week's RVD vs Haas match. But nobody won the match. It ended in a Double Count-Out. After that, Kurt angle comes out and nominates Charlie Haas for the GAA.
5.Booker T vs Hardcore Holly rating:***
Another good GAA match. Booker T won at the end to get nominated for the GAA.
6.Dudley Boyz vs Akio & Sakoda rating:***
Another good tag team match. It was better than the Dudleyz' first Smackdown match against the Bashams.
7.John Cena vs Nunzio & Johnny Stamboli rating:***
Rene Dupree comes out to do the commentary with Michael Cole
& Tazz. Then john cena comes out and raps about the GAA nominees. But then the F.B.I come out and the match begins.
Cena did a pretty good job in this match. He also won the match to get nominated for the GAA.
8.Ending segment rating:***
A good segment to end the show. Kurt angle comes out and calls
out Eddie guerrero. Eddie comes out and talks to angle. But then
John Bradshaw Layfield comes out and says that he wants the WWE Title. But eddie gets angry and tries to attack Bradshaw. But eddie ends up stealing Bradshaw's hat. Bradshaw says that he wants his hat back. But eddie makes the crowd pour drinks and food into bradshaw's hat. It was funny!

Hey now! Smackdown was pretty good tonight!
