Some manga just drags on and on. It can make a great story terrible.
Well, I'm happy that Miura is going to back at work with more chapters, but at this point, it would probably might be a good idea to think about the ending. I know that the old saying of the journey matters more than the destination, but I can't really imagine that a grimdark series such as this played as serious as it is won't take a mental toll on anyone.
On a different topic, I started watching LOGH. {about 12 episodes in out of 110} So far, I'm actually impressed with the characters and the world-building of the series, though it seems like it moves at a sluggish pace in terms of the story. Not saying that's a bad thing per se, but it is a bit of an adjustment from faster paced anime that I have gotten used to over the years.
Just stop worrying, and love the bomb.

I could see Guts and more dead before the final ending.

The ending sequence never fails to put a smile on my face. I've watched the subbed version on Xbox Video and the dub on Anime Network On Demand, and I enjoyed them both.
They glanced over the battle with Anzio in episode 7, but there's an OVA that covers it in-depth. I'm trying to watch it online.
I'm looking forward to Girls und Panzer der Film, which should be released this November.

I can actually see Guts somehow freeing Casca from the curse, not sure how but he'll do so at the cost of a chance of getting rid of his. Then as far as the final battle goes, he and Griffith will probably have a mutual kill and what follows...that one's a tough call.
I wouldn't be surprised if the last panel shows Guts rampaging hell while Corkus moans about how this is even worse because he hated his guts.

If that happens again, it would be the perfect way for another serious.

I kinda wonder if the girl whose place the MC have taken over wished to be a man, thus taking his place?
Also, yaoi alert in chapter 8.

That does make sense. I will avoid the Yaoi.

Hey guys. Been gone like 9 years so probably no one who remembers me is here anymore. Whats everyone up to these days?
Haven't been watching a whole lot of anime these past few years. Just what my room mate is into. SOA was good for half a season when it was still a .HACK// clone. Didn't much care for it as much when the "desperation" was taken away at the mid season. Caught some Heaven's Lost Property.... WAY too creeptastic for my taste but it had it's moments. Not much else to really Add right now. Just getting re-acclimated to the site and hoping to bump into some old friends & enemies.

Sure, why not. What's your cup o tea? May favs are still to this day Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, and Ghost in the shell. I go full hipster though if something is too hyped like Naruto or Bleach. I cant stand the level of insane their fandoms try to reach.

GitS is definitely a favorite, especially both Stand Alone Complexes they did. I like animation just as much as story line though. Like, I'll never be able to watch Dead Leaves because its so low quality. But Appleseed is great looking. My only exception is Shin Chan and Lupin the 3rd. I was big into Case Closed (or Detective Conan as it's known through the rest of the world)
There's also the topic of things that look anime but aren't. I liked Avatar: the last air bender even though it was made in the USA because it follows a lot of the same styles, and The Boondocks for the very anime style of the fight scenes. I guess you could say I'm not a slave to the text book defonition of Anime.

It's just hilarious and it's pretty much one of the funniest animes there is. It also has a very nice animation style and the voice acting was alright as well as how the characters react when things happen (Especially yukko).
I can always use a good laugh. Will look it up.
Rules question. Back in the day we weren't allowed to talk about online streaming. Is this still in effect? seeing as how explosive the emergence of legitimate streaming service has been over the last 5 years? Hell Funimation and crunchy roll have apps on gaming consoles these days.
I gave Parasyte a chance, but I do not like it. Did anybody enjoy it?
Found myself watching DBZ Kai for some reason and I've actually been really enjoying it. Never seen any DB/DBZ before but I had a rough idea of what it was about and decided I'd give it a shot. It has managed to get me interested in checking out some anime again. Still only on the second season of this though.
Started watching the occasional episode of Cowboy Bebop ages ago and now only have a few episodes left. Been really enjoying that one too, but I'm still leaning more towards DBZ whenever I'm in the mood for watching something.
Also have the Gurren Lagann blu-rays sitting waiting to be watched. Got this on a recommendation and because I managed to find it super cheap. Going into this one blind for the most part, but looking forward to it. Not sure when I'll get started on this one though.

It can be frustrating when a good anime only has a few episodes.

Agree. Not any I can think of off the top of my head, but I've encountered a few.... Wait Hellsing was way to good for 13 episodes. Pissed off I haven't seen my box set in like 7 years.
I remembered the names of 2 26 episode anime I used to watch on IFC. Speed Chronographer which was very good, and Hell Girl which I found way too repetitive.

There should be a way to stop the terrible unending ones, and produce more of the good unfinished ones.
caught up and finished prison school today, it felt like they rushed that final hana and kiyoshi scene way too fast compared to the manga... could of used some suspenseful pauses here and there to give the viewer a firmer grasp on how ridiculous it all was
overall the adaptation could've been better or could've been worse. looking forward to one punch man and that new gundam now
