I stopped after the second episode. I just couldn't stand the censorship. This is the same reason why I never watched Tokyo Ghoul. The anime is heavily censored. I just read the manga.

Toonami just added Parasyte to their line-up last week. It looks like we're going to be stuck with it for a while.
Also, Toonami finally removed Attack on Titan. Am I the only one who thinks watching it once was enough?

I read the Parasyte manga and I loved it. I'm going to see about the anime on Toonami. And yeah one time was enough for Attack on titan. They're replaying Gurren Lagann and Kill la kill too.

Attack on Titan was okay, but would not watch again.

Inuyasha. I enjoyed it for a while, but there's a limit. did they ever end this? it was in the 300s episode count last I paid attention.

Eh, I tend to be alright with an anime ending at 13 episodes or whenever it ends, at least the ones I particularly enjoyed. Seems they often just know when to wrap it up. As for Hellsing, I haven't watched the older series once since Ultimate came out. Ought to get around to rewatching the first 8 Ultimates and then finally seeing the last two, which I've had for 10 months. October seems the right time to do it, too. And yeah, Attack on Titan was just okay. Didn't check out Parasyte.

Yes, there was a proper ending - InuYasha: the Final Act. Some characters are killed off and all loose ends are tied up over the course of 26 episodes.

I did like how how the ended it. More Anime should handle endings like they did.

Fairy Tail is bad, and I tell others to avoid it.

Worked until 1030pm so it's a gaming night tonight. Anyone have a recommendation for something on either Netflix or Hulu? I'd like dubbed, but I can definitely live with subbed. Otherwise I'm going to be watching Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood.

Akame Ga Kill is probably the best show. I do not watch Parasyte. It is the only show that I have boycotted watching on Toonami. Dragon Ball Z Kai, is an okay opening show.

I've been finding Akame Ga Kill kinda meh. Parasyte seems pretty cool after watching the first episode. That's some Cronenberg, Stuart Gordon, John Carpenter shit right there.

I read the manga , but I treat the anime as a different thing. Just like when I watch a Marvel film and have read the comic.

In all honesty, I'm not really feeling too crazy for either Parasyte or Akame Ga Kill, which is kind of weird considering that a lot of my favorite anime are usually spilling with blood and violence, at least the anime versions. At least in the latter's case, they aren't afraid of killing the main cast off, so there's some incentive to which member of Night Raid gets whacked next, along with the next bad guy as well. In both cases though, you're better off reading the manga.

One thing that does annoy me about AGK is that there is often such a sudden shift in tone every few moments, it's literately bone-jarring. I understand wanting to lighten up the mood to keep it from taking itself too seriously, but there are much better ways of putting in humor in a dark series like AGK. In fairness, after watching/reading Berserk and Hellsing Ultimate {both are over the top in carnage and grimdarkness, but Berserk plays it seriously while Hellsing relishes in cartoon-y absurdity of it all} it's kind of hard to take any anime that seems to follow in its footsteps seriously ever again, and that's not including the works of Go Nagai, but maybe that's just me speaking.

Just stop worrying, and love the bomb.

i prefer the original manga of parasyte over the anime, it has that 80's monster movie vibe that reminds me of films like basket case and xtro.

Yeah, the anime was making me think of like the Thing or From Beyond or the Society or some other trippy '80s practical effects madness.

The Parasyte anime is bad. I have not heard one viewer say anything good about it.

Most people watch anime for cute girls. It can be hard to like a shown in which body parts mutate into aliens.

Have you never heard of cosplayers that dress up as the cute anime girls? Have you never seen people argue over who their anime wife would be? Many anime viewers do indeed just watch it for the cute girls.
