It won't be.

But perhaps they're re-running the first season to pave way for the second season that will soon follow.

No.

There's no announcement whatsoever of production even beginning.

And I doubt if they were keeping it secret that it would remain that way for anything length of time, Japanese fans are resourceful fuckers.

I come to you with this thought. Ive been noticeing lately that most movies that are playing or planning to come out are based off of a comic book series. So this thought came to me, If you could have any anime or manga series turned into a live movie what anime/manga series would you choose? And im aware that certain movies based off of animes are planning to come out as well.

Probably Black Lagoon. That could actually work pretty well, and it'd be one of the few anime adaptations well suited to an American cast in the event it was picked up for a Hollywood adaptation.

I was originally gonna say Kaiji, but then I remembered a Kaiji film is actually being made. I can't wait to see it.

They are makeing a Kaiji film? I wasnt aware. o.o

And i agree with BL as being a live movie, i wouldnt mind seeing that at all.
I was also thinking that cow boy bee bop of being a good live movie.

Well yes, but as far as I can tell Kyoto Animation haven't announced what they're doing at all after they finish After Story.

So it might happen after that.

Not that I really care anymore; it's been to long for me to retain interest.

On a anime related topic, I just noticed this afternoon that Toonami is canncelled. I was kinda sad to see it go, And no i do not watch naruto and all the other dub mainstream junk they have on the show. But when i was a kid i used to watch Toonami its what got me into anime. My favorite show i guess on toonami was Rouin Kenshin. RIP Toonami :(

One is already in the works, can't say I'm too happy with the choice for Spike.

I hope something horrible happens to the cast and crew that makes it impossible to make the movie.

or it comes straight to video and nobody notices.

I am not amused.

Besides, everyone knows Spike is a Jew.

Or it turns out to be a really good movie that everyone enjoys and does justice to the source material.

Well the fact is that we really cant tell how it will turn out till the movie comes out, Or preiveiws start to air on tv. Also we only know who is playing the lead role we dont know the whole cast yet.

Why not?

Cowboy Bebop is a cartoon that would lend itself well to the big screen. If I was going to name any anime that I think would make a good movie, that would probably be the one.

I'm not sure about Keanu Reeves as Spike, but it's a possibility that he'd be able to pull it off. He's been in films heavy on the fighting before, and I doubt it would be too hard for him to act laid back and 'lackadaisical'. He'd look ridiculous with Spike's hair, though.

Obviously he wouldn't be exactly the same as Spike, but what adaptation is?

Also, Shinichiro Watanabe (the director) and Keiko Nobumoto (the writer) are attached to the film as associate producers, so that might help.

I don't know a thing about the writer, Peter Craig, that's currently attached to it.

As long as they get a good director, then it might turn out well.

Of course it probably won't, but what're ya gonna do?

He should in the film, so he can be re-casted as Sid Vicious(Who will make an appearance). He would summon the forces of punk rock to fight Spike and the gang, and does Red Eye of course.

For some strange reason now a mental image of that is now stuck in my head.
I want to paint a mural of such a battle.
