I haven't watched much lately.

Started on New Getter Robo and it's pretty entertaining. Gonna get back to ZZ soon enough.

Picked up F91 yesterday, and my dad picked up Black Lagoon vol 3. He also picked up a Bebop soundtrack, so we're going to be all like rocking out to Tank! and such. :3

We got confused, because we thought we already watched volume 2, so we got right into volume 3, promptly got confused at the end of the second episode on there. So we had to go and try and find where volume 2 was (it was above the dvd player, ffs), then watched all of that.

So we watched 6 episodes in all, and my dad wanted to finish it up last night, to which I was like "NOOOOOO SAVE IT!".

Things I'm excited about:

1. Greg Ayres having a heart attack
2. New FMA trailer
3. DBZ remastered and with less "are we still on Namek?"

Chaka was the best character ever in that arc. Ending wasn't that great, however not extremely terrible.

Was the '04 version any better?

better? yes. good? eh...I think I'd have to watch it again to give you my opinion on that. I can't remember it well enough. I liked it when I first saw it, and I would have been 15 or 16 then, I think. My taste was different then, and by different, I mean crap. So, I'm not sure whether or not I think it's good at all.

And yeah it was pretty mediocre, I'm not kidding when I say this. It is literally just an older Ghost in the Shell, but less intelligent and with lounge music in it, don't bother watching it. Speaking of GITS, a set came out recently so I'm now going to give it a real try. I've watched random episodes on tv, but I just wasn't really getting into it. Watching it all from the start would probably be the best solution to that.

I don't think that's the first time Appurushido has been on Ani-Monday. I'm rather curious what the difference is between the '88 and the '04 versions. Also, is the '07 sequel Appleseed Ex Machina any good?
