I really like Cromartie High School(think someone recommended it to someone earlier on).
The first episode definitely has the best part though.

I freaking love the episode where Hayashida gets that song stuck in his head and the entire class spends the entire episode humming it trying to figure out what it is.

In terms of manga, Ecole du Ciel and The Origin are the ones you wanna read.

For the anime, check out the 0079 movie trilogy, 08th MS Team and Zeta Gundam. Those are pretty much the most accessible (and best) of the franchise.

Whew, I'm lucky I'm not a huge nerd like you lot, paying for anime and stuff. Too busy working on ym awesome motorcycle, having sex with women and playing Halo online.

Dude, play Halo on my motorcycle while my bitch holds the Xbox in her cunt and the TV on her back.

Did I mention I do this going down freeways as fast as humanly possible?

And my kill-to-death ratio is 20-1?

Yeah, I'm just that cool.

Man, that is so lame.

Do some real animating, dude.

Also, I'm pretty sure all I was watching there was a scene from Samurai Champloo, only with the sound replaced by music I don't care about.

Man, people really need to learn the subtleties of sarcasm.

Sarcasm shouldn't just be saying the opposite of what you mean. It should be saying the opposite of what you mean with flair.

I mean, I can respond to people's questions with a lie.

"Dude, did you check out that new Animal Collective album?"
"NO!"

That is sarcasm. It has no flair.

Learn how to be clever when you are scorning people.

Finished Fate/Stay night, overall it was nothing special, but I didn't think it was bad. Ending was actually conclusive enough for me to be content.

Okay, okay, okay, what I am really interested in is:

SPOILERS

HOW DID THEY HANDLE THE SEX RITUAL BETWEEN THE MAIN GUY AND SABRE?

END SPOILERS

Knowing Type Moon adaptations, it was totally fucking ignored.

And that's why shows based on eroge need to stop being made.

Well, I only had a few hours so I figured I could've just whipped up a short AMV, with some clips.

Animating takes a decent amount of time, and time is not something that I have.

I have been awake for 26 hours.

In this time I have watched all of Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team and Ghost in the Shell: Standalone Complex.

08th Team was really good for 11 episodes, and then it walloped me in the face with a fucking ridiculous and totally unnecessary 12th episode in some sad attempt at a super happy Disney ending.

S.A.C. on the other hand ended on a really high note with a shitload of surprising plot twists that worked very well, managing to provide both an entertaining AND a conclusive finale.

I should really grab 2nd Gig now, because I am dying for some more Section 9 asskickery.

Also I am so planning on re-watching Dragon Ball z one day, it's flawed but I can't help but wanna watch it again, if just for nostalgia reasons. Curious to hear it in it's original japanese audio(Not voices, but the music), I don't think I've ever heard the original before.

Do you own the DBZ series on dvd? All i can say is wacthing any epic battle from that show on surround sound is pretty amazing. Im not sure if they have came out with a blue ray version though.

Looks the new FMA will be competing the second season of Haruhi this spring.

Along with Rumiko Takahashi's next manga starting around the same time, 2009 is shaping up to be an interesting year for anime and manga.
