So anyways, anyone think anything good and original is going to come out in the winter season? That anime about soda looks like it could be pretty funny....

Nope, winter season looks dire.
Not much coming out, another wave of sequels to shit I didn't care about, etc.

On a related note, how many of you are watching Kannagi?
Episode 7 was such a filler.
I NEED MORE.

I'll just take that as a no then.

I only really watched the first episode of the show, but it didn't seem so bad.
The whole thing seemed rather puerile and I kept thinking I should hate it, but as far as that episode went it didn't seem the anti-christ of cartoons that it's made out to be by some. Not that I can go about judging an entire series on the first episode.
In any case, if someone tries justifying a show they like, it tends to just get into other subjective aspects that someone who didn't like it would disagree with.
"I thought the plot was good."
"The plot was not good, you are stupid."
"I liked the characters."
"The characters were silly, stop being stupid."
Usually my reasons for liking shows are because they entertain me.
The shows entertain me because I feel entertained when I'm watching them.

No way. That doesn't make sense at all.

Yes, I know.
Because that was exactly my point.

Dont ask,start watching it,it's a great anime ;)
Yeah, I doubt you still do.
Shut up already.

Exactly,THIS is the biggest reason for someone.

That's some profound shit right there, son.
You've opened my eyes, I guess I better take back all of the horrible things I've ever said about Elfen Lied because the show entertains people who find it entertaining.

Hey, I was just saying that people don't need to have a lengthy reason as to why they like something.
That doesn't mean that what they like isn't wrong.

If by "the best show ever" you mean "mildy entertaining" then yes, Code Geass indeed.

I've managed to get myself sick of watching anything with 'moe' as a focus.
Or really anything stereotypically 'anime'.

This is my reaction to Code Geass, it is made out of M and Eh.
I'd fuck Rolo, though.

More like...
I think the story line for Code Geass is unique. The first anime with giant robots I have ever liked. ;)

Not many other people do.
And even a fair chunk of those who concede it is unique still find it to be a convoluted mess.
The first anime with giant robots I have ever liked. ;)
Wow.
You clearly must be new to anime.
I downloaded GTO again since i didn´t like it last time, i´m on episode 20 now.
I guess you kind of have to let it sink in before liking it, atleast on my part.
So, to go completely off topic, are we still doing that thing where you can change whatever character you supposedly are?

YOU HAVE HUGE GUTS!
I can't bother with a character, all the best ones are taken or female.

I believe in my short reign as head of the club I made it okay for Anime Club transsexualism.
So I'm represented by Ed from Cowboy Bebop, though it's not in my signature.
