Whatevs, I'm sure any source proving the existence of the series and providing a plot summary will do.

It's animenfo, not animeinfo...that gives some word search thing. It's a pretty good site, though sometimes redundant, because the english and japanese titles for the same anime are seperated. It does have ratings list and reviews, which is always good.

The top 200 is done by ratings done by the users, so it may not be the most accurate, but at least it is pretty comprehensive of the best 200 animes, including movies.

How many of those series/movies have everyone seen? Or how many of those series/movies have people watched completely? Like I've seen Last Exile and Love Hina, but only a few episodes.

Fullmetal Alchemist
Cowboy Bebop
Vision of Escaflowne
Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu
Furi Kuri
Spirited Away
Princess Mononoke
Cowboy Bebop - Knockin' on heaven's door
Inuyasha (which I utterly despised, but completed anyway)
Ghost in the Shell
Hellsing
Card Captor Sakura
R.O.D -THE TV-
Akira
Final Fantasy VII Advent Children (awful film)
Kiki's Delivery Service
Gundam Wing
Ninja Scroll
Dragon Ball Z

That's everything on the list I've watched to completion, man, there are a lot of series on there I vehemently despised...I'd list them, but I'm afraid of the verbal beating I'd receive.

Slayers is my favorite anime series and the only way another series could replace it as my favorite would be if that series was: ballsy, bold, champion, classic, courageous, daring, dauntless, doughty, elevated, epic, exaggerated, fearless, gallant, grand, grandiose, gritty, gutsy*, gutty*, high-flown, impavid, inflated, intrepid, lion-hearted, mythological, noble, stand tall*, stouthearted, unafraid, undaunted, valiant, valorous...all while being dipped in goldwinnium.

Slayers Next is my favorite of the 3 series.

A simple number count would have been fine...
There are only 193 animes listed, yet they left off various animes that are better than the ones on the list. I don't agree with most of the list...but I'm sure there are those Inuyasha fans that kept it high on the list...and FMA.

Yeah, that's for damn sure.

Not only that, Elfen Lied is was too damn high on the list, and Love Hina had a terrible anime adaption.

Don't even get me started on Final Fantasy Unlimited, Tenjou Tenge and some of the other shit on the list.

I mainly use that site to find the number of episodes and various OVAs/seasons/movies a series has.

That anime 101 stuff isn't too bad of a read.

eh....I'm sure it is a lot better when playing it instead of a few screenshots of the action. Why don't they just make a PS3 SRW?.....well it being Nintendo it would have to be on the Wii...which would be odd.....

He kind of looks like Gourry w/ the Lord of Nightmares in him.

Of course, but it's still damn epic. (I snapped and ordered it as well, deliver teh quickly!)

Not yet; anyway.

As for Banpresto's releases towards Nintendo's consoles, they are sub-par at best. Apparently, Banpresto sees much more potential in their handhelds as proven with the release of SRW A, SRW R, SRW D, SRW OG, SRW OG2 and SRW J.

Go from short to long, so Haruhi ~> Azumanga ~> Slayers (the first season or all 3?) ~> Death Note (It isn't finished, so by the time you finish the other series it should be farther along)

Anyone know about any new anime lately? I don't watch too much... The new ones deserve a shot.

Lurk moar

Uhh... No. Didn't find anything anyways.

I have been far too busy with work to start on anything lately (even mealtimes have been forefit more often than not), though I have my eye on a few titles such as Utawarerumono and Code Geass.

The only new series I've bothered watching were The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and the Hellsing OVAs. Both are epic, watch them or die.

Do you recommend watching the previous Hellsing release before the OVA, or does it not matter story-wise?

Please stop failing at funny, you're making my dick sad.

im not very interested in new shows iv still gotta watch the old ones.

I have relatively zero interest in series other than ones I've already seen years ago, I only bother with new series if they are either on TV (which means no need to buy or rent), spun-off from an existing series I'm familiar with or truly epic.

The older stuff is often more interesting, not to mention has loads of nostalgic value.

Unless you want to compare the two, you do not need to watch the original series.

The OVAs begin with a complete retelling of the first three episodes of the anime, and then branches off into the manga's story.

In that case, it certainly makes the OVA more worthwhile huh.

Ah, the memories. I used to have a friend named Felix who was a massive Doraemon fan...I haven't seen him in like eight years.

At 3/6/07 06:18 PM, HaroFreak wrote: In that case, it certainly makes the OVA more worthwhile huh.

Yes, it does. Not to mention the dub's ludicrous amount of vulgarity is gone, and the main cast in both languages sounds better than after.

At 3/6/07 06:18 PM, Akatsuki321 wrote: That was quite nostalgic. I really didn't like it though weird ass song to.

I call bullshit.

How can you say it was nostalgic when....

A) You've probably never seen Doraemon (it's way before your time, WAAAAAAAAY before it)
B) You said you didn't even like the video

Explain yourself, faker.

The last time I heard or seen any mention of Doraemon is in the form of cinema posters in Japan around six months ago.
