what do you guys suggest?

Dubs vary in quality. If subs have bad grammar or akward wording, at least you won't have to hear it, and the you can't cast a bad voice-actor for subs, either.

Of course you can.

There's plenty of bad Japanese voice actors.

It's not as if you're watching the movie muted if you're watching it with subtitles.

I do believe I spoke of that a couple of pages ago.

Albeit on another account.

But you have to admit, I included additional information which contributes to the discussion. In fact, I just found a listing on IMDB for a Cowboy Bebop movie due to release in 2011.

In any case, I don't think the movie will end up being made.

It's a silly idea for a live action movie.

Off course, but then again, I don't understand Japanese, so many mistakes will just fly over, unless we're talking really bad acting. Haven't encountered any as of yet.

Heard a plenty of bad dubs, though, there's a distinct difference when the voice actors are working in league with the studio. Or something.

I'm sure you've at least heard the ridiculous high pitched, unrealistic voices that occur in high school girls.

Uguu~

I wouldn't know.

I don't watch shows like that. Unlike some.

Zing.

What are you talking about? High school aged girls occur in every anime ever.

It's what the industry is based around.

Can you think of what anime would be without high school girl panty shots?

In any case, that's no zing. I don't feel that watching anime based in high schools is anything to be ashamed about.

Especially considering I even go to one.

By the way, didn't you watch Lucky Star?

Not that that show had bad voice acting.

Also, the anime whose picture you just posted has some bad Japanese voice acting. Specifically Jet and Spike's voices don't fit the characters. But that might just be because the English dub is so good.

Ed's great in Japanese, though.

I like anime. Favorites are Death note, Ninja Scroll, Devil May cry, Cowboy bebop, Hellsing and Vampire Hunter D.

Back again, but anyone got any suggestion for any fist fighting animes? But minus out the Dragon Ball series since that's the stereotypical answer to this.

Also I seems to notice, but is the character system still active here?

I saw it for the first time last night, D is badass. It was Bloodlust that i watched though, i should get the original aswell.

Hokuto no Ken, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Souten no Ken, and yeah. That's about it.

Hi guys.

I haven't been here for a while, but I want to ask you guys if you could recommend me a good anime to watch, or good manga to read.

Some of my favs:

ANIME:

1) Yu Yu Hakusho
2) FMA
3) Naruto
4) Bleach
5) Prine of Tennis
6) Eva
7) S-Cry-Ed
8) Dragonball

Manga:

1) Bleach
2) Naruto
3) FMA
4) Deathnote

Basically, I read/watch a lot of stuff that has been translated/dubbed, but AS stopped showing any animes that I've been interested in. Can someone recommend a good anime? I know that I got S-Cry-Ed and FMA from here, and those two have definitely been some of the best animes I've ever watched.

Kaiji
Black Lagoon
Golgo 13

Those you should like quite alot. But seriously I think you'll like Kaiji. I love mullets, people with gambling debts and awesome nose's. AND SO SHOULD YOU.

Haha, thanks.

I'll definitely check it out.

After Naruto and Bleach switched over to fillers, I stopped watching them, and that conveniently happened right when I finished Eva. I'm feeling some anime withdrawal here...

Endou has a really big role in the Pachinko Swamp arc, so I can guarantee you he'll be in season two.

Nice, he is my favorite character, and I know he doesn't mean his speeches but it's just great stuff.

I don't know if I could watch another season of Kaiji.

I got kinda sick of it towards the end of the first season.

I've read a snippet of it's manga and I wasn't killed by it's generic shonen styling. And I don't think the anime sucked either, but that's just my opinion.
