Gendo's anime-related guilty pleasures:

1. Evangelion manga (both the main series and Angelic Days). I wasn't a fan of the anime, but I loved the manga for some reason, and I'd personally fund an anime adaption of Angelic Days, because it is made of epic shojo win.

2. Collecting merchanidse related to series I don't watch often. I own tons of Bleach and Evangelion stuff, and I rarely watch either series. Further still, I hate the series and I still own some InuYasha figures, but I'd never be able to get rid of my Kagome and Kikyou figs.

3. Favoring Robotech: The Macross Saga over the original Macross. Yes, even though I bought (and loved) the recently re-dubbed version of Macross, I still find the first season of Robotech (with it's re-writes and obnoxious nostalgic win) to be a more entertaining version.

Guess what? I found out recently that there's an Inuyasha game for the Nintendo DS (the system I purchased less than two weeks ago). Inuyasha: Secret of the Divine Jewel came out on January 23, 2007 in the US. X-Play only gave it a 3 out of 5, pretty much calling it a run of the mill RPG, but I'm still going to look into it.

I actually enjoy some really low-end, crappy, mindless action anime such as Sword For Truth and Black Lion. Well, at least I acknowledge they genuinely suck. The action is quite fun, though.
