my first hitchhiking experiance
went drinking with my friend today, got the bus home, fell asleep, woke up about 3 miles out of where i wanted to be (i live in countryside) and cross the dual carraigeway (driver was kind enough to stop at parkin space on side instead of going to next bus stop) i tried to hitchhike at opposite parking space on direction to home and no luick after 10 mins, started to walkalong the dual carriageway to wards gome, about 20mins later got to the turn off that takes me onto the secondary road that leads to my house, and thankfully as i got onto the turn off, an old man stopped for me as i had my hand out, and took me the rest of the way home ^^

tip: no matter how drunk you are, DO NOT allow yourself to fall alseep on a bus that goes into the countrysde when you live in the countryside, it doesnt work. :P

I used to work at Smith's when I was in 6th Form. I worked on the Entertainments counter, how about you? They actually an alright employer, it's just that the staff discount sucks. It was 25% when I started, then it got lowered to 12.5%. It was just 10% by the time I left.

I've been tryin' to find a job as a Quality Assurance Representative (Game Tester) but the nearest places are Volt in downtown Vancouver which is quite a drive away but if both me and my friend can get a job their we'd car-pool. Their's another place in Burnabe (think that's how it's spelt) but it's too far to drive and I'm not able to move. Volt won't take poeple under 18 though. You need know experince in the Game biz to applie. You just need years of experince playin' games on diff systems, be a team-player, have good communication skills, and good punctiation.

lol I've been doing research and crap on the video game biz since I was 12. So I know alot and a few good sites for those interested. You can be paid anywhere from $9-$80 per hour!

Caseyo, are you talking about Flash Books or like Normal Books. Yeah, I mean I do read some times, but not always, just because it's not like a huge hobby of mine. The game itself looks well coded and animated, I guess it's just the general theme that makes it boring "pushing over cows". Good job though, if you got money for it : D

Well you might find it is boring yes, because of the pace, but it is also kind of nerve racking, so it might not be too bad. I like stealth games like that.

One thing, you have to kind of get in a really exact position to go into tipping mode, you might want to make it broader.

I know, I'm 2 weeks late, and it's probably been talked about already, but I only just got my results so nyaahhh. I got an A in ICT - 99 out of 100 on the exam but my coursework dragged me down. A*'s in Biology and Physics, an A in Chemistry, all 3 I'm surprised with as I was expecting B's or C's. Graphic products turned out to be my worst subject, I got a lowly B. German A, Geography A*, Maths A*, Statistics A*, RE A. English I got an A* in even though my teacher insisted I would get no better than a B if I didn't revise, which I didnt. What did everyone/anyone else get?

Fantastic aren't they? I need this cash to pay rent and buy books, and I've only been talking to these people almost every other day for the past 2 months. Why is it so impossibly hard for these people to send me things promptly. I had to have my mom drive up my mail to Pittsburgh (I don't have/need a car, but I live 45 minutes away). Well she thought that a piece of mail that my college sent to my home was my refund check. Definitely wasn't. So who knows when the fuck I'll get the money. I'm so fucking frustrated with the financial aid.

Jobs

Depending on how busy I am during the school year, I might try to get a job at the Apple store or some other computer/electronics store. These seem like clean jobs unlike working at a fast food restaurant or something. I like to be clean...plus, it would be awesome to get discounts on that kind of stuff.

I used to read like a maniac all the time. Usually if I liked a certain book I would read everything else that author had published that I could get my hands on.

Then my attention span shot down to zero. I still occasionally read some articles in Newsweek or Time but I don't have the patience for books anymore. Kinda sucks.

I thought it was ok, the style was neat and everythign kind of blended together very well with the concept and graphics. But it is slow.
