Boardin'
Snowboarding is one of my most favorite things to do ever. I try to go snowboarding as much as I can during the winter. Of course from where I lived it was about a 2-4 hour drive to anywhere decent. But it was always worth it.
Schooling
Since school is a hot button topic as of late I'll post my latest adventures. As some of you may or may not be aware I have entered my first year of College. I go to school in Philadelphia where I am attending the foundation year of art school with emphasis on Graphic Design. I don't start classes that go towards my major until Sophomore year so right now it's all pretty basic drawing and theory stuff.
So far I am absolutely loving school. The first week was pretty much just orientationing and parties and I've only had 3 days of classes so far. It is going to be a ton of work though. The first assignment in Drawing class was to draw 200 perfectly straight 24 inch lines by free hand. SUPER FUN.
I just got internet in my dorm so I'll try to check in every now and then and see whats happening. I hope everything is well with all of you.

Snow Killing
The first time I went down a slope a smashed into these two people sitting in the middle of the slope, no idea why they were there, but I didn't know how to turn or stop, so i jumped on the ground and slid into them, crazy!
Skiing
I've never been skiing/snowboading, i've been taboggoing, but that's it :P. We've got a snowdome about 50 miles away, so i'll probably get some mates together sometime, when i have more than £20 in my bank account :P.

Snowboarding is one of my better sport/hobbies, I love every minute of it and at 2 1/2 hour drive away from a mountain day trips are pretty frequent with friends waking up at 5 is a pain but completely worth it.
I've been to colorado once and it was great fun, much different from California snow. I got really into urban snowboarding last season. Building a kicker to hit an oddly shaped hand rail is the best idea since snowboard halfpipe.
Fire Works
My friend had a bunch of fireworks last night and there was a party by his house. I ended up getting there at like 8 and the party really didn't start till like 10. So the obvious shit to do was to go light off some fireworks, a couple other people came and we decided to put a bunch of these spinner rocket things in a glass maple syrup bottle. The fuses are long so we get 3 of them in and screw the cap on before stepping back maybe 10 feet.
The explosion the bottle made was intense, glass flew way farther than we expected and a huge piece split open some guys shoe, didn't hurt his foot but kind of a bunch. I got a slice on my palm from some small piece that isn't to bad and other than that. I wish we had filmed it as it was pretty awesome.

Sleeping Patterns
I have a terrible sleeping pattern at the moment, waking up at 10:30 and going to bed at 1-2am. College starts on thursday and i'm gonna have to stay up late and wake up early to get back into the mode.
But on the other hand, i work better at night, no idea why. I'm off to bed now i think. Yeah.

I think those little kids are bad ass, they just bomb everything they can completely yardsale get back up do it again.
If you're tired of people in your way go to less known runs (if you have a local mountain you know all the knooks and crannies of) jump the ropes and just stay out of anything groomed. Also you should be the one avoiding them, dodging into trees is usually a safe bet to get around people who shouldn't be where they are.
Skier's snowboarders
It's funny I hate about 90% of other borders, I always end up meeting and hanging with skiers on the rare occasion I go up w/o a bunch of friends. As for the sitting for me it's always to eat, I hate going into those overpriced lodges and eating in the lift lines and around lifts is way less fun.
Classes
Started school last week, I'm not seeing it as being a super rigorous year, 6 classes kept a free seeing as the class I wanted to fill it with filled up (fucking seniority) So other than chem and pre-calc (math is hard =P) I don't see anything that difficult.

Geometry isn't too hard. Some formulas and stuff, if you're good at math in general, it won't be a problem.

Haha i find it funny that you think that is a terrible sleeping pattern. I WISH I could go to sleep at 2:00. For the past month I've been falling asleep at 7 am and waking up at 2 pm....and school starts on Thursday :\
Snowboarding
I've been snowboarding for 6 or 7 years now. It's pretty much the only sport I really enjoy. I hate sports that involve teamwork because I'm a really independent person. I think this winter some friends and I are driving up to Vermont or possibly Canada if we can come up with the money. If anyone has any suggestions of where to go let me know. Shirt logos and crap made with flash.
I'm surprised how well that cafepress.com prints the shirts and merchindise. I recently just made a store on it and whiped up a few things for merchindise. (I'm gonna have my site up sometime this month hopefully so I figured I'd make a store. ^^) Anyway I got a friend of mine with money to order one 'cause I'm broke as all fuck. Anyway he phouned and showed me on his webcam. I was pretty impressed. Most shirts and stuff have horrible printing. Before this the only shirts I've seen with good printing were NG and the Sketchbook tours.

Wouldn't an auto save feature imply mistakes you may not of noticed you've made, and may have no clue how to fix would be imprinted into your project forever. I guess then there would be the option of turning it off, but if it can be turned off then it probably isn't necessary. Not like fixing the smoothing distortion on the brush tool, or fixing the magnet tool so it works while inside of a symbol. I agree, auto saving might be nice, but how hard is it to hit ctrl s every now and again. I'd prefer if they fix what really matters instead of stuffing flash full of useless shit that could easily be achieved with a tiny bit of effort.

Pickles, pickles...PICKLES!
For the last few months I've been runin' low of both food and money. So one of my relatives sent me some cash. I noticed I still had a bunch of jars left over from pickled eggs, pickled beans, etc. etc. So I bought a shitload of unpickled pickled(forgot what they're called... Small cucumbers or somethin'?) along with some dill, onions, and red peppers. After a long day (or night) I managed to make 5 boxes of canned pickles. Here's a pic of two of them cooling on the counter.
So yeah, in 2 or 3 days once they're ready I'll be living off of pickles for the next few months of school. So it'll be pickles & grilledcheese, pickles & Mr.Noodles, Pickles & KD, pickles & cheese, and finally... Pickles and Pickles!
So anyone else think I have a problem?

Animation Breaks
Within time of animating, and having a good time at it. Usually your finished product turns out either a total disaster or a victorious product. I've been thinking alot about animating, but I haven't been able to be inspired enough to even start on working any projects which is really weird for me.
I haven't been around for a while on Newgrounds though. I've checked it a few times the previous week, but that's really it. I just lost interest a bit. As well, probably the flash scene in general. Maybe, it's just a phase I'm going through that I'll eventually grow out of.
I used to love animating, but for some reason, about 2-3 weeks ago, or maybe even last month I've lost interest. I'm probably going to pick up animating again, but I quite don't know when. Maybe, I'll go on a Newgrounds/Animation break, take a little vacation from it all for a bit. Drink a bit, and just sink in my utter-not success of this life of mine.
Animating was a hobby of mine, but for some reason maybe I should just back away from it for a bit. School is starting tomorrow, and this is the first time I've checked the Lounge in a while. I'm trying to see what's going on here, how everyone's lives are doing, what's exactly happening. You guys may not see my face around here for a while. I'll be taking an animation break, maybe I'll update my blog here and there but that's really it.
Hm, that sounds good. See you all maybe in 2 months. I may crack an animation or two out for the holidays. No idea yet. But All I know now, It'll probably be nothing promising. I'm a mess.

And that's why Maya kicks Flash's ass in terms of saving. Yeah, you still have to ctrl-s every time you want to save, but it makes numbered copies of the same file so you can always revert back to an older point, before you made some retard mistake.
