I think it was Xiao Xiao no.3, which really got me into Flash.

First Movie I Saw On NG

History of Fuck, I think that was in 2002 when someone linked it to me, possibly earlier as I had just changed houses and was watching it with a friend meaning it could have been 2001. Didn't come back here for a while later but I'm 100% sure it was on newgrounds.

My finals are done, and I either did very well or very poorly seeing as I thought they were all difficult but I can't name anything I know i got wrong. (essay question wise)

I miss legandary frog, he never does anything worth watching these days :\

I think the first thing I saw was a game, not sure what it's called, but you put a car together and just road it down the street while playing some funky beats. That was back in 2001 though haha

my username was cuteness2010, my cousin had made it for me. Also, I had no pubes

New Rhythm Game

Looks good so far, nice art and the concept is nice. I did like the way you used AS£ in your last game, but i also really like the crisp art in this one. Couldn't you combine the two? So good art and good programming effects?

First Flash Game

Hmm, i think it was something like The Real Legend Of Zelda 2, thats the closest i can remember anyway. It really got me into flash (Animating), and unfortunately it thrived some of my more shite work :P.

I don't know which one it was but it was definately by David Firth, as I found Newgrounds through a link on fat-pie.com, thanks to a friend of mine who LOVES Salad Fingers (but hey, who doesn't?).

My first adventures with Flash started when a different friend showed me what Flash was and how to do a few simple things. I started working with Flash before I had ever knowingly watched Flash on the internet...

The original club-a-seal was the first thing I remember, way back 1999 or 2000. My school soon blocked NG after.

Not on newgrounds I believe. I think someone had me watch homestarrunner when i was younger, but I soon lost interest in that, and someone showed me some legendary frog cartoons.

It was then that I clicked a "Watch on Newgrounds!" link on legendary frog to get here.
Funny thing is that I had already been animating before I found out about any of those sites.
Not in macromedia flash, but in various other programs.

Just comeplted SC5 and Part 2 just now.. always love that game(s).. dreamcast origonal obviously, not the terirbly ported ps2 version..

He did stick around and go through the test of time i will give him that.. but he didnt get that much better after all these years if you think about it. I mean his tweens still look unnatural and puppet like. What do you all think?

Yeah, I agree, his animation is adequate but far from great, and at one point he just seemed to get stuck in the same spot, he sort of cornered himself with these stylized characters and comedy only. He never expiriments or tries anything new, it's been the same old shit for quite awhile.

Probably the first I ever saw on Newgrounds was Dad's Home or the Maxwell Edison Story. It wasn't really was got me into Flash though. Seeing Newgrounds just excited me more, knowing there was somewhere people could put their own Flash work.

Hi can anyone give some input on the graphics for a game I'm making? I tried to escape my scratchy style for a bit so stuff would look a bit more pro.

So does the small amount of graphics in my half done game look like a neat artist made them or the scratchy styled 13 year old me?

First Flash on NG

I remember when Newgrounds was just Club-a-seal(I think this is what I first saw), Teletubby Fun Land, Assassin, and something else...I'm not sure if assassin was around actually. I just remember the first two. Either way, it was probably close to a decade ago and I'm pretty sure it was before the portal.

After that, I forgot about the site and found it again a few years back. After that, the first flash I stumbled upon was this little gem:

I still find it hilarious and reference it in various conversations anytime I can remember it.
