I'm working on something at the moment that you could call 'epic'. All together it will be around 5 to 6 episodes, so it will be pretty long.

ArmorGames Intro

So I'm making a game with some friends for the Rock Out Contest, but I have this one Idea I want to do for the ArmorGames intro.

Kenney was nice enough to give me the new one, but does anyone have the older intro, the one where the swords slide out from behind the shield and make the "ka-ching" sound?

Any help would be tits. :3 I'd just rather mod that one than have to make my own from scratch.

Epic Flash

Would animation that is really well done count, cuz theres Mousclix (clicks,,,,) who made Final Fantasy At and Shoo Fly. He hardly makes anything and yet his flash are so awsome. He made shoo fly in 2 weeks, imagine if he made something like that, like every month!

I wouldn't really call anything "epic" feels like the wrong word. and if we're talking about beautifully animated long flash with a decent storyline romeo and juliet sealed with a kiss takes the cake for me. That one guy made a feature film in flash by himself.

One of the reasons why I haven't made a full Flash. I learn a bunch of techniques but when I try to animate something and it comes out wrong I get really annoyed and give up. Especially when I can't do it as I pictured. But lately I've started to get over it by cutting corners and all that shaz.

Thats exactly what happened with Thom York from radiohead. After the huge success of Ok Computer he just couldn't create anything. So he turned to experimentation which worked a treat. :]

I would like to know how i could improve the explosion that occurs about 3/4 of the way in. It just looks to bland and doesn't look epic enough. Thanks.

NG Collabs Down Again

When I tried to go to NG Collabs to request a flash partnership (the one I had fizzled because of conflicts) and it had just a bunch of search links, and according to when I clicked on why am I seeing this? It said the domain expired.

Funny youd post that luis ive been 'working out' recently. Over the last month ive been doing press ups and sit ups. I did over 200 press ups the other day.

The best strategy (or atleast the only strategy I know of) would be to play a game (game, not as in computer game, although that'd work) and say 'every 10 bla bla bla do ten pressups'.

EG every ten posts, do 20 press ups in a row.
EG every time you die (in a game) do 10 press ups.

Epic Flash

I dont know if you'd call it epic, but Im also working on a bit of a series. Ive already made most of it when i was new to flash, but now im re doing it, but this time with a bit more attention to detail, cleaner graphics and smoother animation.
At the moment Im waiting for uni to finish so i can get back to working on it in my 8u week holiday.

On a side note....im fucking 18 today! Apparently im now mature enough to buy my own alcohol than yesterday. As the last one to turn 18 in my year, i'm pretty excited to finally go to pub tonight for some beers with my mates, play some pool, and get on the pokies woohoo!

I don't check that much but the ng mag never seems to be updated with interviews which are pretty entertaining, I've turned to other sites to read interviews with artists ut it would be sick if they would update that frequently.

Yea tom pretty much abandoned that project. i think the way it was designed it wasnt that dynamic and a pain to update things..

Your site was one of the ones I was refering to, and I'm in full support of everyone steeling that idea, I just feel like that since its one of the larger buttons it should be updated. I think submit should be one of the larger buttons seeing as it's a fairly major part of the site, much larger then the mag

Yes, yes it is rather offensive, but this is Newgrounds and offensive is the norm around here. We have flash games and movies that poke fun at every cataclysmic disaster, natural or man made. We have rampant racism and sexism in the forums. We have nazi sympathizers and artists who draw penicorns and abortions in progress.

I'd love to see (and be a part of) a nicer version of Newgrounds, but offensive stuff brings a lot of traffic here and I don't think peoples rights to free speach should be restricted. I guess I just wish that Newgrounds would grow up a little,

You have to remember that Newgrounds is mostly made up of 12-16 year old pubeless idiots. However, I do enjoy seeing a penicorn every now and then, it reminds me of where I am. Newgrounds is a place where you can do almost anything without being castrated for it. Any other community site would shun you for expressing yourself. I dare you to post a drawing of a penis on Deviant Art, or Sheezy, or even MySpace without getting a kick in the crotch from the moderators. I've always loved NG because of the fact that almost anything goes (except for the really stupid shit, that is just annoying, like flaming or spam).
