As for me...like usual, I should be working on my final project for my senior year study class...I'll get around to it...I have 8 seconds done of about 190 in total...I've had 8 seconds done for a very long time. BUT, It is the first animation that I've actually planned out enough to finish. I feel ridiculous commenting and teaching and learning everything there is about Flash on this forum with no Flash to my name. Hopefully, not for much longer.

It's an American weed thing. We don't do have it, because as you said our dates are the other way around being English.

I didn't smoke today, buttt went over my friends yesterday. He's just got back from Amsterdam and had smuggled 8 different types of weed back.. so we just got nicely stoned.

I wish I was working on something right now, I'm kind of in the middle of a break from Flash, Pico day kind of overclocked me and I just got tired of it so I stopped. I'll probably get back into it soon though, I want it to look good, but I also wanna get it out of the way so I can work on something thats not on any agenda finally. Haven't made something just for the fun of it for a while (though making Pico Day stuff is fun and all).

4/20 is the worst pseudo holiday there is, it has me thinking about Hitler and Columbine and people who are on the roads driving after getting high, like this asshole I used to know... Hell probably everyone I used to know, but most people don't smoke-up while they're driving. April is just a bad month in the US, and now there's the whole VA Tech thing along with Oaklahoma City and the Lincoln assassination. April showers bring May flowers, or so they say.

It's a national American holiday, in which the purpose is to smoke weed. I didn't hear about it until last year, so don't be surprised if you just learned about it.

I didnt hear about the weed holiday until I was 11, and she said it was national get high day, and most of her school didnt show up that day.

How usefull is this really? i never find any good reasons to use it (heat wave, water effect..... thats it!)

I love masking, great for portfolios :). You can do some prety good effects with it aswell, for text and such. And in AS, you can use it for say, a magnifying glass or something :).

I use masking all the time. Of course, no examples come to mind right now, but sometimes instead of moving layers around it is easier to mask it and work off of it that way. I love masks

I hadn't been to the Flash forum for a while before a few days ago, and this is bugging me. Has the amount if immature people here grown exponentially?

There's someone who posted a completely valid job offer. He's clearly not stupid. Now, a bunch of 13 year olds (literally) come into the thread, and flood it with their nonsense. I mean you see responses like "you need to get this approved by a mod", "ask the mods if they want to do the job". Just plain stupidity.

Put it this way, I don't think anyone in their right mind would consider hiring people in that thread after what went on. And it really doesn't seem fair to the people who might have been interested in the job.

The kids here need to learn how to conduct themselves in the presence of a possible employer. It's a real shame, because it seems like these job offers take Newgrounds seriously and the maturity level is just SUCH a turn-off.

I have a 10 year old cousin who is better at flash than a lot of the stuff that gets blammed from NG. He's been using it a couple years. In a couple more he's gonna rock.
