Yes, technically it says "this is spart spartaaaaaa", but anyone who has seen the film or even seen that scene will know that as the actual words are "this is spartaaaaaa", the second spart is put there becaus otherwise it would just say aaaaaaaaaaaa which is debatably slightly more stupid than spartaaaaaaaaa.

However, if at the end of the day the reason you don't like a sig is due to ambiguety of the text, i suppose theres nothing I can do to change that.

thing is, i do like most stupid humor. First off, i hate John Heder. I did not hate Napoleon Dynamite, but i have hated him in every other movie he did (not the movies themselves, just him). And every fucking time they touched everyone laughed because its "gay". It was funny the first 2 times, but they did it like 20 times. It was gay joke overkill.

It was just "to" stupid for the likes of me. But whatever, most people seem to enjoy it, so cant be that bad i guess....

I see your theory, but you seem to push it to far. It's just one theory, there are a million reasons to laugh. One thing that's pretty interesting is the theory of the decline of television/films/media through dumbing down. The idea being that the studio will try and appeal to as broad a public as possible. So aim for the lowest common denominator, and everybody can understand it.

Now people may agree with the dumbing down theory.. but it's not like the answer. it's just a theory. Same way for what you say about Stupid films means you're stupid.

Ugh, I hated Napoleon Dynamite, that was a HORRID and pointless movie. What I did like was that guy in other movies, he actually looks normal. Too bad he got famous in the stupidest of fashions.

Anchorman was a great movie, but all the best lines were Brick. Will Farrell's character wasn't nearly as funny.

Never seen Borat, I can't get to the theaters because I don't have a car on campus. Regardless, I'm assuming you're describing some sort of frat boy, which is less than typical, and which I am not. If I wasn't a loser I wouldn't be on newgrounds, I'd be out doing something more interesting. I haven't been to a party in ages either.

So culturally I live under a big piece of limestone... but of the bits I've seen of Brass Eye I can only say that the guy's a damn genius. There's satire and there's satire and then there's Brass Eye which is in a league of it's own. Watched The IT Crowd when it was on as well. I think he got cast perfectly for his role in that. Not a huge fan of Steve Coogan it must be said, but I did enjoy the Alan Partridge series of programs.

Our comedy history in this country's amazing, even during the rise and fall of the American Laughtrack Sitcom. It's just a shame we have to (for god knows whatever reason) include Graham Norton in it.

Blades of Glory was kind of a one gigantic gay joke movie, but when the asian girl got decapitated and the snow mascot got shot in the head with the cross bow, that was absolutely hilarious!! And I rather enjoyed the two antagonist couple, I like that lady in SNL and that guy from Arrested Development. I want to see 300, but its rated R here, I hate it when a giant action movie has a sex scene, because then I can't see it!!!! Movies ruin themselves by having sex in them, if they want to put it in, they should make a seperate porno, but please for the love of god, when making an awsome action movie, please just have the action!

Watched it with friends shortly after new year's. I'd suggested it out of a friend's collection because of the cover. Was disappointed it didn't have any trouserless anchorman scenes. I was hoping it'd be about a guy tired of his job, or just taking it for granted, and seeing how far he could bend the rules.

Napoleon Dynamite
Brilliant Film, really good. I can understand how some people would just not get it, but it's awesome. I've seen Jon Heder in school for Scoundrels and I think he's pretty good there too. Didnt like Nacho Libre though, a good example of jack black working as a supporting actor. Orange county = great, once again proving Jack Black is funny if he isnt the star.

I absolutely agree with you, i didnt even waited to read all the other replies before replying, i know sex sales and stuff, but i mean, people who go to see the movie have already paided, they wont pay more coz the movie had sex in it. I havent watched 300 either, i know i could go with 18year old friends and enter, but im not talking about this movie only, i hate that cool movies have unnecessary sex in them, and i say unnecesary because it has not much to do with the movie, it odesnt affect the plot or has anything to do with it, its just fo rhte holy sake of having sex, and not letting the kids watch the movie in peace anymore.

Sex Scenes

Heh. The 300 has some pretty graphic sex scenes as far as they go. It is almost a softcore porno really. It is fucking intense, I almost felt uncomfortable watching it, but it was great. The whole movie is straight from the mind of Frank Miller. He is not your average PG-rated sell out, apply to the masses kind of guy. The fact that you people would prefer he water down his work just so you can see something that by definition you shouldn't is kind of aggravating.

I mean if you're parents don't give a shit enough to stop you from going to see things you shouldn't see, I don't really care. In fact, I don't think it is the responsibility of the theater to stop you, it is your parents job. But to make anything less graphic, or less anything for that matter, to appeal to more people is so painful to hear.
