Munchies

I got the Munchies, the flash munchies.

Except they are pre-emptive. I bought quite a daddle of fine-cokes and crisps. Gunna try and do some heavy flashing over the next few days before christmas, minus taking a break to do my shopping. Gunna be a week or so of films flash and eating, so hopefully expect to see a game finished.

Flash Forum Distraction

Take the entire time you spend on the Flash forum. Do you think you have benefited more from the amount you have learned and helped out here, or do you feel like you are losing out on precious Flash time and its more of a distraction from your real work?

For me, I think I have learned a lot here, and has been worth all the time I have spent posting, in even places like the Flash Reg lounge.

My Site Design

Hey guys, I'm trying to think up some themes for a redesign of my site. I want something that suits us as a style, and I'd welcome any suggestions. I obviously want to stay away from anything copyrighted, which means pretty much any Decline stuff is out of the question, and I think that an Another Day feel might not give the right first impression I want.

What do you think?

I wouldn't go with frames next time. I like your site, but frames just annoy me for some reason. I'm guessing you're still thinking of using flash on your site. Better buttons would be key. Buttons that go in reverse when rolled off of. I like how you do the seperation of selection on your site, so I'd keep that, just in a very different package. maybe something like a site map that zooms around to different pages. But I'm not sure how you could work that in with the space and still display the pages contents.

Also, different colors. Blue and white is just a tad boring.

SFB Redesign

What I like to do is browse around all kinds of sites and find themes and ideas i like and integrate them into it. If theres anything id want for you all sites is a CSS redesign and something with more pictures. i like pictures.

very clean design. Simple nav bar, clean layout and easy on the eyes. yet its got enough of a rough feel to match the style of his artwork.

Look through the work you've done and sort of start there .. find colors, styles and themes that seem to be reoccurring and go from there.

Well we started spiraling out of control. I hate bush and all that but i think its too hot of a topic for a flash forum because we're users from all over the world and our environments play such a heavy role in our understanding of things and its just a war in itself trying to reason with each other because we're always gonna be so attached to whats near us.

I looked at it a while, and I think a sidebar would be nice- it was a little annoying waiting for the buttons to come up (but that's just me. I wait for nothing). I also think that a dark shade of red would look nice somewhere. Other than that... maybe something a bit more spiffy for the text.
