Headache VS Computer
I'd say mess around on the computer for a while, see if you can forget about the headache. That may be a terrible idea, but if the headache isn't that bad, it's more entertaining than lying in a dark room.
Busy forums
Maybe everyone expected something crazy to happen today on NG, so they came to check it out, and in the process checked out the forums? It could happen.
Busy Forums
Forums may also be busy because so many people are checking out the front page news. If they click in to read, they are entering the forums.

That's actually a great media error. All tv shows' (except for spongebob i think) april fools is translated as 'dia de los inocentes', el dia de los santos inocentes is actually a religious date, it is at december 28th, and it remembers the day in which Herodes killed all babies in Belen trying to find Jesus, people think that 'dia de los santos inocentes' is when they need to play pranks, and they do them on december 28, when the original date is acutlly April1st...
I just wish you understand it, great use of Spanglish by me ;)
Wacom
Im finally going to order my wacom tonight.. but i need some comments.
Should i get the intuos A5 for £220?
or the graphire for A5 graphire for £130
I think ive kinda answered my own question because after searching for the a5 at first it said £290 so £220 is much more reasonable

When i turned on my PC this afternoon, all my firefox bookmarks were gone. Every single page i've ever like, gone :(. Its gonna take me years to rebookmark all that pointless crap :P.
This has happened to be multiple times. I hate it. I devised a new method of book mark keeping, however. I though all of my links into the quick click bar, under the navigation bar. I guess they aren't really bookmarked, but it keeps them close, and I havn't had that problem in awhile. Then again, there are only a handful of site I visit constantly...book marks aren't really necessary, but it sucks when you loose them.

It really depends on what you need. I'm using a graphire 4 that just came in a few days ago, and it's perfect for someone like me who needs something without special features and does the job. The Intuos is great for anyone who wants to be able to do even more. It all depends on how much you want to spend.

ctrl+f5 clears cache too so it would refresh all images. f5 just refreshes the page.

The Internet Is All Lies
So yesterday I got a bit torrent thing, as I mentioned, and I picked a few things to download. Now this one movie had like no seeds but for some reason I was curious. Took hours to download and once it finishes its a 30 second clip that you need a license to play.
This probably has been discussed before but..
The Universal Remote:
Did you ever want a universal remote? Where you can rewind to the moments of life that you miss the most? Well, yeah I wish I had one right about now.. So I can relive the times we have, and prevent what has happened.
Changing all the mishaps and mistakes. Changing all the fights and hardtimes. Make it easier for you and I. Just going back to those times.
But than again -- with a universal remote...we wouldn't be learning anything...we wouldn't learn by our mistakes...making it all rain down on us in the end...
My theories on this:
You shouldn't let things in the past bother you, they're done and over with. And although, maybe you don't want to admit it but they have helped you. They've made you what you've become and who you are in some way. And everything happens for a reason. I believe in living in the present and not wallowing in whats been said and done. Don't dwell on the past or you'll be forgotten in the present -- you won't enjoy in what you have because you're dwelling.
To get to the future, you have to settle things in the past, and live the present.
Am I correct?
Check out the movie Click you'll learn much. I'm just curious if you guys think a universal remote would be pretty handy sometimes.

Yeah I pretty much agree with what you said.
But I mean the bottom line is after seeing click I don't see how anyone would possibly want one.
Some people have said Click changed their lives. Maybe that's too far, but if makes you think. So yeah...
Universal remote
That remote would have rocked had it not had it's memory setting and that fact that you can't rewind so far behind.
At 4/1/07 05:00 PM, Lord-Sonx wrote:At 4/1/07 04:38 PM, MethodMinus wrote: Pink Skull are you supposed to be Mexican or something?yes she is.
Now you know.
Universal Remote
In Click, he wasnt able to totally control the what happened, coz the remote autoprogrammed and he took him to the future and stuff..
I'd like the remote to re-live cool moments, but i wouldnt change anything..
Rewind
I dread the idea of being able to go back. We dwell enough in previous memories through the media we have today, I can't imagine how memory strung people would be if every moment was available to visit.
Hi there!

People would always liek to stay in the past. The wouldnt live for the moment. They'll go mad. The world would turn insane.....
Remotes and stuff
I don't want one, simply because it would give me too much power.
If they were to exist for everyone for only a week, I think that would be just fine, and then cease to exist after that (not possible? hey, if an in-life menu is possible in the world of Click, I think that's possible too). We'd be all lik e"Zomg lets have some FUNNNN" And it would be over so it wouldn't get old and we wouldn't have crazy people.
Rewind
There have been times in my life when I have been very focused on the mistakes I make in the past but it's hard to say it's still not a problem. I tend to over analyze situations, social situations mostly. Perhaps I have some anxiety disorder or something but things as small as the way I say hello to someone, or the fact that I didn't, can sometimes end up bothering me hours(or sometimes days later).
In a broader sense, I sometimes regret not doing certain things years and years ago. Like, sometimes I wish I had tried to make more friends in elementary school or something random like that.
In short, I've lived a very apathetic life. At the time, it seems alright not to care, it makes life a helluva lot simpler than worrying all the time. But in retrospect, I end up asking myself "what if". The sad thing is, I've convinced myself I'm almost incapable of change, so I'm more likely to sit around wishing I could go back and do things over than actively trying not to repeat the same mistakes over and over again.
Oh well. Since I can't go back in time to give myself all the knowledge and wisdom I've acquired in my short life, in a hope to better my current situation, I look forward to the day when I'll have a child of my own, so that he or she will have more of a heads-up than I ever had.
I posted this on page 401, but no one responded *tear*
Books on Animation
I'm thinking about buying a book on animation and I have 2 quesions:
1. Do you guys have any personal favorites, or generally accepted "bibles" that would be worth my money and time.
2. Many books about animation that I see are mainly based on drawing on paper then importing into the computer, are there any books that deal with mainly computer animation?
Click
The movie wasn't complete crap.
Also, I actually shed a little tear at the end of the movie.
OS
I give you the new faic of computer operating systems.
April Fool's Day
It turned out to be one hell of a shitty one. A big let down IMO.

I am not sure if anyone said anything about this already but it saddens me that the BBS user of the day is random, I mean people could come along and think that that means they are good users then they get here and Gust goes all one line shut the hell up on them and they leave forever.
Congrats on BBS User of the day gust, not that you did anything to get it.
