Lame Christmas

Everyone gaze in the awesomeness of my intense never ending list of presents. Heres what i got:

a belt, a shirt (too big for me), a chess game (cheap) and a pair of boxers.

I got all that from about the 15 people that gathers up every year at my house. They're all my family, my nephew got an mp3 player, my other nephew got a gamecube... Now i dont even have anyone to talk with. When everyone's around, my nephew goes with my other nephew, my sister goes with my brother, and my other brother doesnt even show up. So im kind of... alone. I need an e-hug.

This is why i take refugee in the interwebs

Anyway merry christmas to all and whatnot. Sorry about my rant, had to get it out of my sistem.

My new cellphone

well, after years of being surrounded by cellphone-toting teenages, i've finally gotten one. and now i'm encountering problem after problem with it, but this time, i have no clue why the fuck it isn't working!

i have a Razr for verizon, i dunno what model it is exactly. basically, i can't charge it. the damned fucking thing refuses to charge! it just says "Unable to charge" and i'm fucking pissed. i tried switching outlets and switching chargers, so i know it isn't my charger, it's this stupid fucking phone.

anyone have a clue what i need to do? i turned it off, closed it, and stuck the charger plug thing into the socket, or whatever you call it, and after a few seconds of a blue "background" on the mini-screen on the shell thing of my phone, it just says "Unable to charge". i've tried re-plugging it in dozens of times, with the same result. i'm going insane here, please help!

May sound weird, but works.

Lick the contacts on your phone and then on the end of your charger. That way you'll clean them off. I do it all the time because my phone does the same. Do it ONCE on the charger and once on the phone, then plug it. If it doesn't work, then jump off a bridge. Its the only way. :D

after searching the problem on google, i've seen one solution that seems to have worked for a few people; taking the battery out and putting it back in. another problem: there's no clear way to get the battery out of this stupid phone. guh. i know where it is and all, but there's no handles or anything that could possibly aid you in taking the battery out.

I doubt it has anything to do with the battery :P Unless its misplaced by a little, take it out with all your brute force. Then lick the battery contacts because youre a whore like that :P who knows. My phone is "unable to charge" nearly all the goddamn time. It always helps me.

But then again it could be that the world doesnt want you to have a phone.

Sorry your christmas was lame... I gave up going to a cool party to spend time with my family... the prime rib was worth it.

Do you guys consider "Animutation" to still count as flash artwork? Its the stuff I fell in love with and actually "Learned" flash for the soul purpose of making them.

I'd say the array would be faster, because it's checking through less objects than the for... in loop. However, it depends a lot on whether the lag's from the code executing if the object is in your loop, the code executing every iteration or the graphics. Try messing about with low qualities and stuff to see if it helps.

I agree with Paranoia, the array would be infinitely faster. Just bangs through them checking as it goes, instead of having to sift through muck to find the gems.

Eats!!!!

Well, we're having lobster and turkey for dinner. Lobster for me, turkey for every1 else. I don't eat turkey, too dry. Oh... yeah, and the lobster was on sale. like 100% off... in a garbage can. So that's basically why I get it. And last night we habd, uh... hmm, I can't remember, but it was good. We had JIm Bean sausage and omlettes for breakfast/lunch/brunch today.

I've been doing a lot more flash lately, and i notice now that when i vote in the portal, i vote a lot nicer now. mostly because i feel more empathy for the author. anyone else get this way?

Haha, I just had my picture taken with them and I'm wearing a silly hat that came out of my cracker. But we don't have a digital camera, so you'll have to wait until the new year until you can see them. :'(

i'm in relatively better spirits than i thought i'd be today. probably because I finally finished lipsyncing my christmas cartoon and got it submitted it on time.

i got a lot of stuff. for my birthday, i got some jeans, three shirts, a bank account (starting off with $100 my mom put in from her account), an extra $235, some active noise-cancelling "around-the-neck" headphones, a checkbook (to go with my bank account (: ), and some other not really notable stuff.

for christmas...wow, i got a shitload of good stuff. i got a cellphone (verizon version of the RAZR), a new gaming keyboard that got rave reviews on cnet and whatnot, a gig of corsair ram, a high-end sound card, a usb 2.0 7-port hub, a canon digital camera, mario kart ds, animal crossing: wild worlds, a memory card reader/writer, a one-gig memory card for my camera, the fourth season of south park, this weird hand-held fan that has LEDs on one blade and can display messages, a battery recharger with four energizer batteries in it, a carrying case for my camera, a weird cookbook, and football and basketball hand-held games that i will never, ever use.

and i turned 16. this is definitely one of the best christmases i've ever had.
