Because I know people here and feel comfy sharing things in this lounge...you'll notice most of what we talk about here isn't really flash related.

Wow, Shattered Horizon is actually pretty awesome, I underestimated it on its last free weekend. And now it's only 10 euros with the weekend discount, totally worth buying.

Video games are crap nowadays. I must say though that, when Jose Gonzalez' Far Away started playing when I rode into Mexico in Red Dead Redemption my jaw dropped. Magical moment right there.

Haven't played RDR, but Jose is Swedish and I saw some article about him getting all this fame from that sequence :)

I suppose one needs to play the game to understand though, cause I've listened to the song and I wasn't too impressed by that alone.

sorry i havent been around these lands much, i usually keep up with what you all are up to, i just rarely find any of my insight meaningful enough for me to post. So i dont log-on to my username and i just stalk you guys.

Had a chance to hang out with some old lounge regs like JordanD, NegativeONE.

Anywho, in regards to what i actually do for newgrounds. That seems to be the million dollar question, i think thats what people most ask me at all the meets ive been to. Its hard to say precisely what i do because it changes from week to week. I think im more of a swiss army knife right now. I have my own share of projects i have going on (Portal Defenders 2, RWD related animations, etc), and then i have other mini-projects that come up, like promising/interesting concepts Tom's got his eye on sponsoring and wants to liven up with in-house art. Previously, Jeff takes on that role, but with the redesign on the way, and Jeff's art being the 'face' of newgrounds. It stretches him thin and so thats where i come in. I like meeting and working with new people anyway so its fun either way.

Aside from that, i also have other non-flash related things that come up. Like working on a new line of shirts, contests, etc. Also traveling to meet-ups and getting people excited about how special the site is and how far we've come from just being a hentai site. Theres like a massive amount of talent that comes through these rivers. Its kind of mind boggling sometimes.

actually luis' job is just getting paid to say stuff like that :D
