Damn you and your complications, I'm intrigued by this now. If a Siamese twin was murdered, would it be counted as the death or 2 people or 1, there is obviously 2 consciences, but only 1 body has been actually attacked.

I don't know - it was a show which seemed to fail in every way imaginable, yet still be completely hilarious. I'm not quite sure how - none of it seemed to work but somehow the whole thing did :/

Or if one twin hates life and wants to kill him/herself, how does that happen? Do they have to agree on it? Does the other carry a dead body on him/herself? Or one twin has to watch while the other gets fucked, or just fuck both? But what if they're ugly?

Why do you care if someone else is obese? Or if they commit suicide? Or abuse drugs?

Unless its someone you know personally, it doesn't affect your life at all and the only one getting hurt is the one who wants to.

Hm bummer, I still need a credit card for the store regardless of the store credits I have. I was looking forward to buying some stuff today, I guess I'll work that out another day then after I've fixed myself a credit card.

Well done sir.

Abortion
I'm not fully sure what to think because i haven't fully heard all sides yet. But I do believe when the baby becomes conscious that's murder, but what about the moment of conception because the morning after pill is after conception but that's not banned...?

Hmm...I need a good think on this.

Well no, because thats just a stupid argument. Unexpected/young deaths are terrible for a whole number of people. It seriously affects all friends and family, and can often ruin relationships between family or friends. Infact, in the long run, the "one who wants to get hurt" is getting hurt the least, because once they're dead, their pain or whatever stops, whereas the friends and family's pain for them lives on.

Why should i care if someones obese? Or if they commit suicide?Or abuse drugs? Well i don't care about them, but I know theres likely to be loads of people who do, which is why people can't always be trusted to look after their own bodies.

Having said that, i think abortion is fine if its mutually accepted between the mother and father, or if the father has left the mother.

I know. Wasn't that awesome! :p
Mind you, if it was that guarunteed a victory our politicians would have contacted the real IRA, promised them that we'd cede control of NI if they cleared Afghanistan for us, and they'd both nearly eliminate each other, clearing two birds with one stone.

I think he handled it well (at least, being more entertaining than most Channel 4 anchors... though when you're up against Justin Lee-Collins and Jimmy Carr that doesn't speak volumes), although you could see clearly he just couldn't take the format seriously.

Well thats fine in a country with no public healthcare or the lousy Medicaid system you guys get in the States. But in countries like the UK and Canada where there is socialised medicine for practically every procedure, it's in everyone's best interest if everyone is healthy. That way there are less people coughing up cigarette tar in the form of lung cancer, getting heart bypasses from McDonalds and less emergency surgery to attempted suicide victims and more medical resources going towards people who couldn't prevent thier medical problems, and more resources towards helping prevent these "voluntary" conditions happening in the first place.

And on a purely empathic level, you SHOULD hope your fellow man is mentally and physically well.

Teaching Flash
My mum teaches It. I went in to her school yesterday and helped to teach flash for the day. It was really fun but kids can be little shits.
Obviously we were only really doing very basic stuff and half of them werent paying any attention at all but some of them had learnt a bit by the end.

Anyone else done any flash teaching? I've helped my mum out before at her old school and I helped run some workshops at an animation festival a couple years ago.

RE: Teaching Flash
I've taught a grade 11-12 class flash over a week.
In many cases it was like teaching bricks but about 1/4 of them started to pick it up.

Closest I got was teaching my friends in school because I knew more than the teachers who were 'qualified to teach after taking a 2 week course'. Didn't enjoy it though, never liked being bombarded with questions, especially simple ones.

'Google it' is a legitimate answer in my world.

A programming teacher of mine didn't know anything about Flash and wanted me to hold a lesson or two to teach it to the class. At first I thought he was joking, but he seemed serious.

Thankfully he must've forgotten about it though - after that he didn't mention it again.

I would really suck at teaching.. Although I could possibly be better at it than that guy x)

Stupidly I admitted to my ICT teacher that I knew how to code in flash, so he directed anyone with any question at all to do with flash to me.
The most common question was "How do you make games?", which would always be answered by something along the lines of "It takes months to learn, I can't tell you everything in half an hour". There was never any specific questions, like about using loops or arays. It was always just "How do you make games?", or a question about animation which I have no knowledge about.

Exactly what happened to me. Though what i did was build a quick demonstration game, get people to play it and then explain how it's done. Always good to add something about the money from sponsorship, people don't tend to hear the amount of time it takes to make a game, just the $1000 you get for it.

1. Stop bring up these attacks here, there's threads in general where it's being discussed.
2. Don't post on alts if your main account is banned. The reg lounge isn't a rule free zone folks. If we let it slide in here we have to let slide everywhere.
