I was gonna suggest that but forgot, though apparently Xeptic suggested it already, I think he stole the idea from me anyway. He's in mah head.

I guess I just don't get this then. I don't see what so fun about manually typing in the coordinates of every vector image on the stage.
It's not just the drawing aspect of it, it's just that you have to code everything really differently when you use only code. It's also a lot easier to keep track of what is going on with all your objects, there's a lot less confusion when things go wrong :p
It does require the trouble of manually typing in the code for every piece of art. it also looks ugly.
Like I said, it's easier to keep track of all the current objects when you're drawing them with code. It's also really quite easy.. I mean, basic shapes don't take long to draw (squares, circles) in AS2 (especially if you prototype a MovieClip function, drawCircle, drawSquare, etc) or in AS3 which has drawCircle already.
Why? It's not necessarily an impressive feat. It's just tedious.
It's just cool to create something without any predrawn stuff :/ It's not tedious because it's fun! A strange kind of fun I know, but it's not boring :P
A vast overstatement. The file size for that image is about 7kbs. Assuming you're able to make each game less than a kb, you would still be stretched to fit even a dozen games in there (though that still would be impressive). Your point about filesize is noted, I'm just not sure it makes it worth it.
True toast kinda bullshitted there, but a full, pretty, API game can be done in around 10kb which is nothing compared to the 5mb+ games of today. I don't think making a full game in API is a good idea (although if you look at Denvish's games, he has several API games which are brilliant), it's.. fun.
Well, more time than it would to make a game without API with similarly simple graphics.
Lies.

My friend just had a brilliant idea for a Halloween "party": A Zombie night! Basically we'll just get drunk and watch zombie movies, play zombie games, etc =D

SUPER FUCKING COMPUTER
I was just at a friends flat and she has 2 PCs (1 mac, her main, and a PC which is new). The PC is fucking amazing. nVidia 9800gtx graphics card, quad core 3ghz intel processor, 8 (FUCKING EIGHT) GB of ram, dual widescreen monitors.. and that's all set up at the end of her bed >.< The only games she has are Frontline: Fuel of War and Dues Ex. She's never used a PC but got this beast made for £1500 so she could play games, so I put Dues Ex on (because the disc was in) and it was insane, it looked good at 1440x1000 res despite the game being like 10 years old. I'm gonna borrow Crysis and install it on her PC, for sexwee.. she could easily run it at full settings, no lag.. FUCK!!!!
It was pretty.
