I started listening to Bullet for my valentine a few days ago, and they're really good, especially the album Scream Aim Fire. Hearts burst into fire is one of the best songs i've ever heard.

I prefer the album "The Poison", I think "Scream Aim Fire" just sound too much commercial for me... Hearts Burst Into Fire and Waking the Demon are great songs anyway... but for example "Take it out on me", is just gay...

I only have the Hand of Blood EP and it is actually real good. Besides that my elitist mind can't get into them :P.

Go to Prussia, dig a hole in the ground before someone stab you in your back, because Prussian people love to stab strangers, never forget, they're fucking teutonic knights, they do everything to protect their Empire, and then bury your elitist mind in that hole you just dug... shit on it platonically, you can make a funeral if you want... then listen to BFMV and bend the fuck over to them!

Been playing Mudvayne's " White Album" alot lately and it is fucking awesome. I love Out to Pasture one of the best songs on that Album.

My buddy and I are going to try and make it to St.Louis for the Mayhem Tour this year because for some fucked reason its not coming to KC. They have a SICK lineup for this year.

Korn, Rob Zombie, Five Finger Death Punch, Lamb Of God, and that's just the Headliners.

It's not bad... But I think it's kind of generic and there is too much chugging on that album :P

Can I join?
The only band that i'm really into that's metalcore is August Burns Red...But, i'd really appreciate some recommendations for new bands.

Sorry for double post.

Forgot to say i also like Opeth.
If anyone also plays guitar, i've been learning Marianas Trench by ABR. Awesome intro.

I'm liking a band called Armed for Apocalypse right now. They're sludge metal, but with some core influences. They don't play as slow as your average sludge band and their riffs are great, which is why i love them.

So Slipknot is going to die... right?
I've seen some people posting shit on various websites saying that they won't replace Paul Gray. I don't know if this is right, but that could mean that Slipknot would come to an end.

Maybe, but I have hear that Chris Fehn will play the bass from now on. He does play the bass in a different band and they don't really need two percussionists.

Don't want to ruin it for you but they may not be as bad as what people say, that is a horrendous album though. I think its time for Avenged to be confined to the history books as that band whos drummer died young.

Personally I'm looking forward to Asylum the new album by Disturbed, set to be released on August 31st. They should be touring soon too, got to go and see them. Hope they play Download Festival 2011, that would make my year. That and a System reunion.

Oh well. I think that this would mean that they are not interrested in getting a new member. I should have known that one of the guys probably was a bass player... has most of the band members who are not doing shit in the band used to be guitar players and drummers :P

I bought it off iTunes and I love it, its fucking poetry the way they did it with so much imagery and feeling. Alone, Home Is For The Heartless and Karma are some of my favourites. I'm getting Nightmare by Avenged Sevenfold gonna listen to it and probably review it. They're not a bad band really.

I won't say anything bad about As I Lay Dying, they really are a nice metalcore band. I can't say that I really like Avenged Sevenfold anymore though. They used to make pretty decent music, but now they are just following trends in metalcore... while they still think that they play metal music...

I forgot about Korn III: Remember Who You Are. That was only released on July 6th and is a great new Nu-Metal album. I especially like Oildale (Leave Me Alone). I think that this album takes Korn back to, not the very beginning but to the same kind of sound that came with "Issues". I can see it being the best Nu-Metal album this year.

Check out the music video for Oildale (Leave Me Alone). Its a good one :). Jonathan Davis has gone back to wearing his Adidas tracksuits I see.

Disturbed's new album could be good, I don't mind them, they have a nice feel when they're not trying to convince themselves they can do slow songs.

Listen to Dead Bodies Everywhere and Freak On A Leash. If these two just won't do it for you, than I guess Korn really isn't made for you.

I would also say give Alone I Break a listen. If you still don't like Korn after these songs, I'd give up trying :).

I have found myself listening to alot more Rammstein of resent. You gotta love there live shows, heres a great example I found on Youtube, its a combination of their best live pyrotechnic and whatnot. The song is Zwitter.

I was surprised given the reviews I'd read for it but I liked it, their style changed a bit, they grew a little heaver and even their soft-ish songs were well done with some catchy riffs, none of this 5 minutes plus bullshit of the same shit (cough Hearts burst into fire cough). The songs were at the right length and never over-stayed their welcome. My favourite tracks so far for it are 'Bittersweet Memories' and 'The Last Fight'. Riveting stuff.

Fever is much more inconsistent than Scream Aim fire or The Poison, I don't really like it. The title track also has really stupid lyrics.

I would say The Poison > Fever > Scream Aim Fire... Also "Take it out on me" is a song that should disappear... And I feel Scream Aim Fire a little bit childish for some reason... And yes Fever's title track lyrics are... well I wouldn't say stupid, but not BFMV, it's something I wasn't expecting from them...

And Hearts burst into Fire isn't a bad song! The only thing that's missing on that song is a solo... Well... easier for me to play!

Also... Classicalcore!

I have been listening to alot of Korn over the past couple of months. Mainly because of the new album and also it sparked the memories of when I saw then in 2009, great live talking of which any Korn fans here watch this.
