Just got back from the gig, Entombed were pretty good, but Amon Amarth were fucking mindblowing.

I've never done so much headbanging in my life, it was fuuuun.

Can't wait till I can see them again, they're amazing live.

Opened up with Twilight Of The Thunder God, and played stuff like Runes To My Memory, Guardians Of Asgaard, Live For The Kill and of course, the mighty Death In Fire, which was ridiculously epic.

For the encore they played Cry Of The Blackbirds and Tattered Banners And Bloody Flags, god that was good.

\m/

Holy shit I just remembered what they did during the violin solo in Live For The Kill, they all stopped and stood at the back of the stage, then Johan just SCREAMED like a fucking demon, the whole room went fucking crazy, it was insane.

I keep remembering random bits of the gig, I was drunk for a bit of it so that might explain it :p

They're pretty good, but as far as hardcore goes I prefer stuff like A Day To Remember.

More of a metal guy anyway, I dunno about you guys but I love Deathcore bands like Suicide Silence, Carnifex and Whitechapel, as well as melodeath bands such as The Black Dahlia Murder (of course), Amon Amarth, Children Of Bodom, and In Flames.

I CAN BE DIVERSEZ0RZ

They're standard but good enough for me to listen along to them, like I'm not saying they're brilliant, but they're still good to listen to sporadically.

They are horrid... like very very very bad.
They are a joke to hardcore music... which really isn't that brilliant anyway.

Want any good suggestion for hardcore music?
Throwdown is still the only band I like in terms of hardcore.

So... Bullet for my Valentine are recording a new album, amirite?

I wish it has as much feeling as the albums before "Scream Aim Fire", even if the album has good musics, "Take it out on me" made the album suck, I just haven't heard that album for while, now I just listen to the album "The Poison", it has so much "emotional" (lol) feeling.

If by recording you mean, ripping off riffs, then yes :P

The Poison was better, of course. I like it better than their most recent album. But Waking The Demon was kind of cool though and Scream Aim Fire was kind of good.
But The Poison in a whole was better, yes.

Try to bury your past like I did...
I feel ashamed reading my emo posts I did in 2005 and 2006

You also do not have to believe in Satan to love Black Metal. In fact, black metal bands invovled in churches arsons and killing were more into Norse Mythology than Satanism. When they talk about Satan, normally it's not the guy who lives in Hell, but what he represents. They are anti-christianism, but they do not believe in Satan.
Also, Burzum... yes

Yeah but I am still Satanist, and I don't believe in devil if that is what you mean with Satanism, "Satanists" who believe in devil, are just pseudo satanists devil worshippers, and sacrificing is stupid, there is just two points in killing an animal, food or protection. Satan is translation from an hebraic word, it means opponent, and it makes sence that Christians call their so scary devil Satan, since he is God opponent, but Satan stills a word, and a Satanist is in fact a Church opponent, I respect christians, jews, muslims, whatever, but if they start to put shit in my head... I tell them to stop if they don't stop, I will show no mercy. The only thing I worship are my own objectives.

Hail Satan!
Rege Satanás!

I don't know but this music makes me think about Iron Maiden... I want a new "The Poison" not an Iron Maiden alike album...

Hi guys, thought I may as well give these guys a bit more exposure outside of Australia.

Do you mind giving my friends band a listen to and leaving some feedback?

Engage The Fall

My friend is the guitarist, 'Zovko'.

Cheers!

There has been a kind of NWOBHM touch to Bullet For My Valentine since Scream, Aim, Fire. I think these guys are kind of influenced by Iron Maiden.

But I think the song is quite interresting. Let's worship some more metalcore here !!! lol :P

And the album is out today. I don't understand this shit of putting all their musics from this new album in their myspace, Shadows Fall did exacly the same...

Also, As I Lay Dying new album, "The Powerless Rise", will come in 5.11.2010. It's a pity they're Christian... I am waiting for good shit.

They look like emo fags, but I love that song.

They're pretty interesting, but they sound a little bit too much experimental for me.

I guess that the experimental touch is really what makes them interresting to me. I like their progressive sound two :)

I know, it has been a while that the new BFMV's came out, but I'm going to make a review anyway, I can only say it was good, not excelent, it has some catchy songs, but Matt Tuck promised on Kerrang! that this album would erase everything else they did, but seriously, it didn't... the style remains the same, awesome and melodious... Matt Tuck still has that sexy voice, and I hope he never lose it. My favourite song was the first one, "Your Betrayal", I just didn't like the intro, it's very repetitive and it turns boring very fast. In the music "Fever" there was something in the lyric that... I don't know if I liked it or no, it's a lyric about perversion... and that's just so wrong, for me BFMV must write emotional lyrics. Just check it out:

"Come here, you naughty girl
You're such a tease
You look so beautiful
Down on your knees"

It's just so full of wrong, let's make it right...

Come here, my angel
There's just one thing I can see
You are so beautiful
Lay down with me, in an everlasting kiss...

My favourite chorus in the album is in the music "Alone":

"You fake condemnation, you pray for salvation
'Cause your heart is made of stone, you can die and rot alone"

Hmmm, I smell some light anti-christianism here...

Well... maybe this smooth outbreak of anti-christianism and perversion is what Matt Tuck was talking about, when he said this album was going to erase all their old work, but I am such a technical cunt when I listen to music, I just care about guitars and riffs and fuck everything else...

Also, I don't know if you guys know "The Agonist", but if you don't know... I just have two words for them, fucking sexy...
I want to have sex with the vocalist, she's so hot... I'm in love...
