Sorry for the double post but, when im at school i see all these kids wearing this band's shirt and hoddies. The band is called from Autumn to Ashes. I never listened to them for some reason. Well today i was driving home form school and my friend put thier cd in and i though it was good at first. The main singer has an awesome voice and the music was great. The thing i hated was the dude who sings the chorous. He sounded like the biggest bitch. His voice was so emo and pitiful. I think they would be an incredibale band if they had a different singer.

I haven't been able to post this for the last week because my computer was being repaired...

GIGANTOUR was fucking amazing, it was the first big concert that isn't only local bands I've been to so it was all new to me. The bands that I saw in order of playing were:
-Caliban
-Arch Enemy
-Soulfly
-Megadeth

I got to meet Caliban which pretty much made my day apart from the concert overall.

I think im goin to see In Flames, and Lacuna Coil live. But its on 12/6. Im going to see godsmack again on 12/1 and Life of Agony of 12/3 and maybe crossfade on 12/2. I think im goin to be broke and be very tired. The thing is my birthday is 12/3 so i should have extra money to buy tickets. I sont think i can take that many days off of work. So what concerts should i go to. Im goin to see Godsmack with shinedown again without a doubt

Anyways, I might need to put a new updated list down here but dunnow... Well now any bands give 'm I'm searching :)

:oh yes, Congratulations before I forget it... And I'm really good in those things xD...

Last night me and a few mates went to see our friends band play along with 3 other band, the turn out was so poor I'd say bout 20 people showed up which was disappointing.

The bands were:
Dark Cyanide: MySpace Website
Born A Liar: MySpace Emo/Rock)
The Deadthings: MySpace Website (Similar to Wednesday 13)
Cathwitch: MySpace Website (Best act of the night.)

you should be able to join. Korn is a great nu-metal band. One of the few i like. Also in your profile it says your other favorite band is the Deftones. They are okay but their new album is pretty good. The best song off it is Rapture

Killswitch Engage - End of Heartatche (dunnow how you write that)
Sepultura - Roots (instead of a Disturbed cd)
And my personal favorite
System of a Down - Toxicity
all 3 for 25 euro, while buying them alone would cost 3 times 9,99 euro...

I luv Holland and it's sale-actions :P

i dont know if these bands have ever been mentioned, but ye should all look up

Darkest Hour, and Bury Your Dead .

particularly, for Darkest Hour, the songs "Convalescence", and "Low".

and for Bury Your Dead, the song "Magnolia" is freakin brilliant.

as a wise man once said - " i don't know whats i be doin'... "

I love Bury Your Dead. Their new album is so kickass and brutal. I feel in love with the first album and listened to it almost daily when i first got it. Darkest Hour is really heavy to. I dont like the vocals as much but the music is so brutal and awesome

Bullet for my valentine started out as a cover band of nirvana, they eventually changed their style to metalcore and added some more softer tones in. The lyrics, though sad and melancholy, should not be considered emo. They are metalcore, and will always be metalcore. If you want to know what actual emo really sounds like,go on myspace, then you'll see how wrong you all are for
even thinking BFMV were emo, even in the least.

There are many who still bash them and call them "emo" but remember, these peopple are either extreme metal lovers who hate all mainstream music...or are simply arrogant dumbasses who don't know the slightest thing about music, and define fads by stereotypes.

It's even worse here... Here people say every metal band is exactly the same as Slipknot and that isn't even metal... I can't stand those stupid fools who destroy and think bad about something when they've never listened it >:(

Anyway check out Deathstars and Clawfinger if you don't know them already

Response to Nu-Metal/Metalcore Crew 2006-11-14 14:51:29

favorite bands

i feel the same exact way. My one friend always make fun of me for liking them. The only thing is that their lyrics tend to sound more emo because of the way he sings the chorus. But what band dosent sings about the way they feel. That is what music is about. Their is a limit though

My favourite band Linkin Park are often classified as Nu-Metal but i know there are alot of hardcore metal fans that hate linkin park and claim that categorisation as false. So tell me this, am i welcome here?

Deathstars are pretty good, their vocals remind me of Rammstein. Havn't looked in Clawfinger as of yet though.

Yeah that band Clawfinger is cool as shit. I never heard any band like them. Itunes say they are a swedish rap metal band with Middle Eastern Melodic vibes. That sums up how different they are. Thanks Comrade for showing me this band.

With all this talk about Killswitch Engage i decided to watch some live videos of them. Ive never been a big fan of them and i kinda disliked them. But then i saw A Bid Farewell Live and it was awesome. Then i listened to their one Cd closely and decided they arnt that bad. But i still dont think they are that good and amazing like everyone makes them out to be
