I guess i will tell you guys about the band called WAR OF AGES. They are a christian metal band, but you cant tell that at all. They are kinda hardcore metal but they have some kickass chrouses. The best song i think is STAND YOUR GROUND. Others include Only the strong Survive, Brothers in Arms, Strength Within, and Aftermath. I think their newest album is the best its called PRIDE OF THE WICKED

Deftones are NU-metal. Nu-metal are bands like Korn, Deftones and other bands that have a hip-hop sound along with metal. It isnt that good . Metal and metalcore is the way to go

Also the new Trvium CD came out today and it is amazing. It is a different from their other albums because it has a very strong Metallica sound. The first time i heard it Metallica istanly popped into my head. It still has songs linked to their metalcore roots but it has a lot of thrash metal. It is Metalthrashcore

Trivium's new album isn't as good as the others in my opinion, they were way better when Matt Heafy put more screaming in the songs. They've kinda softened up a bit with this new album.

I don't no to... I just listen to what others think they are but I still think that it is something between rock and metal and has some influence of hiphop like korn, SoaD, HIM and i guess Turmion Kätilöt to but I classify them more as rock...

Lol, since when did SOAD and HIM have hip hop influence?
HIM = Rock
SOAD = Alt Metal.

To take this off at a tangent, Daughters are playing in a venue local to me on Halloween and I thought I'd blow their trumpet here.

Crazy, crazy ass Math/Techcore from Hydra Head records, definately wierd, in my opinion they're pretty sweet, I'll do a nice (read as "drunk") little review after their gig at Adelphi.

In the meantime, have a quick listen here
Not usual listening on this forum, but hey I likes 'em

Disclaimer, I guarentee you'll either like these or hate these... you have been warned.

2. i'm missing the number twelve's "an exercise in self portraiture: go shoot yourself", "operating on a re-runepisode", and "category" from nuclear.sad.nuclear. if anyone has these, could you send them to me (sadicschoolgirl@gmail.com)?

For some reason, there's a Chimaira CD in my room. :O I was just getting the recharger for my MP3 Player and I looked at where I store CDs that have no case and saw a CD that I havn't seen before, so I check it and found out it was their Pass Out of Existence album. Either one of my friends put it in one of the CDs I let them borrow or my sister got the CD somewhere. O__o

Although I didn't listen to the CD (I got other CDs to listen to and I'm borrowing a compilation CD off my friend). I was more thinking about whose it was and it was one of my friends. He said he lost that CD, so the only way it could've got to my house is one of my friends putting it in a CD case of mine. :P

I saw Killswitch and Unearth last night.

Pretty sure it was my favourite gig of the year, if not the past couple of years.

It was amazing.

There was waiting involved.

A lot of people think they are Emo. The lyrics are Emo but not too bad. They have some really great songs but yet they have a few what are little emo. I love the guitar solos they throw ar you. They are a young band so maybe they will become heavier, instead of more Emo like some bands are going
