Yes I did and they sound good but not really my style... I also checked out Eluveitie(they really are very good folk) and scars of chaos wich is very good metal from french :P, Also I discovered Soundclick wich is a really good site with a lot of free mp3 downloads from a lot of different bands check it out soundlink

I've lately got more into death metal, but I have also gotten alot into demon hunter, as i lay dying, and coal chamber lately. As well as some slipknot, and system of a down.

I also just found out about this new kickass metalcore/screamo band known as the devil wears prada, they kinda sound similar to as i lay dying and underoath.

I'm also liking killswitch engage, and taproot. ^_^

thats one of S.O.A.D. lightest songs but its also like one of my favorite by them........i got papa roach's new cd today! its not quite as good as some of the other's like getting away with murder but its still good

I especially like their earlier stuff but i've got mesmerize and hypnotize and they just keep up being good anyways I'm starting to get into grindcore a bit... maybe not the smartest thing ever to do but it just sounds good and if you wanted to join you're in (to retarded to know those things...)

yeah their new song is called THIS CALLING, its pretty kickass, also some really good songs from that album are NOT ALONE, SIX, BECOMING THE CATALYST.

Also the new Trvium CD came out today and it is amazing. It is a different from their other albums because it has a very strong Metallica sound. The first time i heard it Metallica istanly popped into my head. It still has songs linked to their metalcore roots but it has a lot of thrash metal. It is Metalthrashcore

I can't really narrow down a certain favorite subgenre, but metalcore, thrash and deathgrind are always a good choice.
