That's great news Darksolider, I love the level 26 icon I will be rather sad to see it go. Soon around sometime next week I will be trading my Flip Knife, for a lovely pair of Brass Nunchunks. Pretty good. I've been student teaching, but I'm finished with it now. Well sort of.. I have to write up some papers and get some stuff organized, but after that I will finally finished for the semester for that. Still have exams in other classes to worry about though.

Also, sorry about the whistle Idiot-Finder. I've lost Deity once a while ago, but I got it back in a couple of days. Just stick around the abusive review thread and you will get it back in no time. You obviously know what to mark if you had Deity before.

I know the EGB thread isn't a "Level Up" thread, but I just wanted to tell you guys that I became a Wi/Ht? Regular. I think it's a major event for me. It was, actually, quite unexpected and I was very surprised. I think my job with the Top 100 Audio Reviewers / Top 100 Audio Responses helped me to get noticed and to get voted, my work paid off :D.

Now about the EGB, I'm sorry about my "Un-activeness". I didn't post anything on here for a while because I was quite busy. But I left the Review Request Club and I think I going to devote more time to the EGB. So yeah I'm back :P.

Sorry for not being around often. FarCry 2 and LittleBig Planet have gotten in the way of everything, even school work. And it doesn't help that Resistance 2 comes out next week.

Ah, that explains it, I was wondering why I couldn't deposit my stats last night! I've been using it more regularly recently as I'm on a little burst of B/Ping (hopefully culminating in 50,000 BP before too long).

I realise I've not being posting much, to be honest many of the posts in here aren't really conducive to conversation at the moment, rather they are one offs that I do read and find valuable, but don't lead to any obvious comment. Just know I am still around and browsing this place on a daily basis.

And keep battling the endless amounts of spam that continue to pass through the portal- I am as fed up as anyone to see myself getting 80+ saves in a day, yet fewer than 10 blams despite a much closer ratio of votes being cast, sometimes around 50/50 blams to saves. It is costing me a huge number of points on a daily basis (I'd be well over 50k right now if I got every point I felt I deserved), but I know I'm doing my part, and every blam I receive is a small victory!

Takes a long time to get blams up at the moment, I do quite a bit of blamming and don't get many in a day, which is why my saves shot way up ahead of my blams. When I first started using the site, blams seemed to be much easier to get than they are now, crazy.

This is why we need a portal mod, someone completely new to the business and not bias to any flash author, someone who won't really be known, sort of the Stig of the portal. Someone who can notice in pure human eyes, why some crap just needs to go away.

Hah! I just ran into one of those earlier. Of course, being the crap that it was, I blam voted it. I may not be an omnipresent force in the portal, but the current state of the portal is pretty good in comparison to what I keep hearing from everyone else. I saw a fair proportion of crap and quality flashes. Of course, that's just me.

Oh well, more opportunities for whoring up those points!

Hey, thats me, no wait, I'm very bias. I was wondering what was with the Squf flashes. It's nice to see some justice still runs in the portal. How long ago did this happen? I also find it hard to belive that barracks members would protect spam as it goes against oue code of blamming honor (actually I can think of a couple). I would love to see a few more authors get the boot but thats just my NG wet dream.

The only problem with that is that whoever is chosen is going to be biased, whether new to the game or not. Tom or Wade wouldn't pick someone unless they knew that the person would uphold the rules of the portal.

Plus, how would Tom recognize the person if they aren't that well known?

I do agree with the fact that a portal mod is needed, but the mod they chose has to be someone who has a good amount of B/P, and have proven that they don't like spam. Like Rage; he's clearly shown that he's against spam.

Good point; I only have 37 thousand points more than him and still keeping a relatively healthy blam/save ratio <_<

Being bias against spam isn't bad, it's the whole purpose. to find those authors with 300 submissions of pure crap, and have them instantly removed. Personally I think Tom should take a couple days off of everything, and take a good look at newgrounds submissions. then I think we'll be fine.
