So would you rather add another 5% to the total voting power for every 5 or 10k you go above 30,000 B/P, but without any new rank increases?

I've played around with the idea of adding a star infront of the SC tank for every 10K b/p you get after 30,000. (Though I do remember this idea being discussed before a few years back)

A decent enough excuse to keep the B/Pers interested after 30,000 B/P, which seemed so elite a few short years ago, now it seems like everyone is doing it.

Well, a B/Per with 100,000 B/P would only have a voting power increase of an additional 35% (5% * 7), so theirs would only be 95% additional Voting Power.

I suppose 5% wouldn't blow up the voting power as much as I had thought. (I never actually sat down and did the math) All the above users you listed, and everybody who continues on after SC would be more than deserving of VP bonuses. The ammount of effort and dedication it takes to not only reach 30K, but to continue on afterwards, should be rewarded, I agree fully.

I'm very pleases I have got 5 b/p points today which is lots for me 53 points, must be one of the slowest to get next badge had this one for six months!. Anyway checked out the portal? sort of holiday for the Lock Legion, which I'm a huge fan of some great submissions. Here I will explain one

Sorry i could not find the one with the author comments, but what it means is that if any of the members of the LL don't submit a flash they will get banned. So its quirky idea don't you think? Not much but still some funny humor of the flashes.

That does seem like a worthy reward for not abandoning the portal even after having reached the final rank.

I myself had just now struck 12.00 on my VP, high stats for level 34 on average, but low for this rank in B/P... That's why I'm sure that some additional voting power could help and by your calculations, bump up my VP by a respectable amount without driving it insane.

I like the idea obviously, but I can only hope it will be put into practice.

is there seriously no other benefits once you hit the top rank? That isn't cool. the whole 5% thing isn't a bad idea. It would keep me going but I need to hit the top level first for my opinion to count. It could be quite a while with my lousy B/P rate.

I'd say 10k; if you have 30,000, you're pretty dedicated, and have some insane average where you get 5k every 2 or 3 months.

But besides that, having a 15, 16 or even 17 VP is insane. Phantom has a 12 right now, and Wylo has something around 14. That's a huge jump in power, and a huge swing in what flashes will pass or be blammed. This could be for the better, but I like seeing the other side to it, and how it'll be abused.

Off of the top of my head, I can't think of any really abusive users who would be very much affected by it. A lot of the SCs are Wi/Ht? regs and such, helpful and good rather than annoying trolls. And what's more, there's those that are here in the EGB. I'm sure that's the majority of the Supreme Commanders, who are unlikely to abuse NG. Worst case scenario that I can think of involves Toocoll100 and his save-happy ways, but even that's probably not that much worse than a lot of the voters in the Portal today. Or maybe some spammer gets SC, but they're usually not interested enough in NG to spend all that time voting for such a high goal.

Well done Coop83 on gaining the elite badge of Supreme Commander ,you must have worked your socks off. It looks so cool the badge does, and it like gives you major voting power. My rank not that good but it better then nothing, only 40 or so more points until Sergent which i really want the rank of got 5 points today. I do find it amazing that some alts are so high levels as well as b/p ,i mean i could not be bothered to vote for another account ,but good on those that do its amazing. The ones with saves only and blams. By the way anybody else having trouble sending posts?, it took me twice on NGDD to send one.

I can't even find enough time to vote for more than my account. I just don't have the energy to do it. I use to be able to deposit for 2 or 3 alt accounts, but now I haven't even thought about signing into them for months.

I have this problem at home with my slow internet. I usually have to vote 3 or 4 times before it goes through also.

This is basically trying to sit down and address both issues here - Firstly, where people want more Voting Power and some even say ranks past Supreme Commander. Secondly, you have the other members who want no new ranks above Supreme Commander.

Personally, I think that the easiest way to address this issue is either to leave well alone, or add more voting power at set intervals for increased amounts of B/P. Currently, Newgrounds is happy to leave well alone and I can't say that I blame them. It's not like they are short of people to B/P and it was never the intention of this site to pander toward statwhores, especially a situation where Afro_Stud, or any of the other top B/Pers could eventually cast their vote and claim an instant point, stopping everyone else from having fun.

Yeah, it probably passed because people may have felt strange that VomitGod did not submit it himself.
Also, lassuk; if you could just please narrow down the flag/stolen posts (we love them, this is however not called the "report stolen shit here" thread). Newgrounds is diverse, but this is the BBS, if you write this post in one club, you do not need to repeat it in another, because it gets the impression that that is all you do, and that, "that" is all this club does.

As if he cares... He's been flirting with account deletion for as long as he's had that account, and has in fact been deleted I think three times before, which he mentioned on AIM at one point. Be suspicious of anything this guy submits, as he doesn't actually have Flash (or so Zeebmork told me), so it's either made by one of his friends for him to submit (he got a Turd as betty with something Orangebeef made for him, if I remember correctly), or stolen. And if it's any good, chances are it's the second because most of his friends don't like making anything really good that often.
