Self explanatory I would've thought.

  1. Tutorial
  2. No animation. 3 pictures/slideshow.
  3. Was blammed & re-submitted.
  4. No animation, just a single picture with a zoom out.
  5. Slideshow. 30 pictures, 1 per second. No animation.


Not exactly Rocket Surgery.

Also funny how many Non-EGB flagged these submissions for all the reasons I stated. I guess not everyone needs to have things explained to them.

You're not really asking them to prove their identity, all your doing is asking if they submitted their stuff to Newgrounds.

I would simply ask, 'Hi there, I recently watched this on Newgrounds & was wondering if you submitted it, if not someone has stolen your stuff & posted it on NG'. They'll either say it was them or it was stolen.

You can tell them, if it was stolen, to make an NG account & post about it here, including links to the original etc. It doesn't hurt to spread some Mayo on it, tell them you hate people stealing & getting credit where it's not deserved. Trust me it works.

If you have access to twitter, or facebook, or some other means, you can ask there. NEVER go from the angle of, "HEY YOU! PROVE YOURSELF!!!" because that's not good. Rather, just ask, "Hey, did you get a Newgrounds account? I saw an account on Newgrounds with your stuff." and let them volunteer the info.

I always just send them their IP address, home address, and their mailbox long/lat location to get their attention, really make sure they know that I'm a serious inquirer of information

It's designed to take a long while. No one would care if the next level could be earned with, say 10 flags. That's why everyone should be cognizant of how many items they post. Reckon this one falls under "do not submit stuff that's merely set to a visualizer or a recording of your music project timeline." It's mostly a case of the later, but it also has some live action images / video as well and no real animation production. What do y'all think?
