I may slow down a little in the next couple days...I have this tree fort outside that I made several years ago, and I want to fix it up for my little brothers to enjoy, and it'll take a couple hours of maintenance a day to make it return to its former glory, lol. But I also plan to do said repairs early in the morning when everything is slow anyway, so heh.

Yeah my first audio sucks even more that it is diamond I don't who could just sit there and click that button over and over I couldn't even do that and it's my audio and now my seventh audio is over 500 unreal downloads ahhhhhhhh... as long as it doesn't get any more unreal downloads.

I was browsing the front page a few minutes ago and noticed a funny flame war going on. some users were using "leave a message" to insult each other: each person insulting the person before them. Quite amusing actually. Shame i already used my message for the day (yay for NG public confessional).

Guess who is back? ;) My 3 days' bbs ban is eventually over. It makes go nuts when people SPAM AFTER my post which cause me posting in a spammy thread. I posted in 2 two pages long thread 3 days ago and there was no way that the thread was spammy. Then I was informed that I received a 3 days' ban because of posting in the spam thread. If people spam after my post, it is not my fault posting there, is it? Sometimes, mods have no mercy, and they ban everyone in a thread. I have seen some other EGB members complain about the mods. I totally agree: you don't have to be nice to be a mod. Now the question is: how can we try not to get banned. I know that most of the people here get banned because of posting in spammy threads. But what to do if people spam after your post and make the whole thread spammy. Any idea? I am really tired of getting banned because of that.

I only have one solution which I use, stay off the general section. The general section is pure suicide. If you post there you really are asking for it... I stay close to the C&C and here and there, the Wi/Ht but that's all... The general section should come with a warning " post at your own risk".

I agree with you there Ghost_Phantom the general is the worst place on NG to go and post. any other thread if you get banned you caused it yourself but the general you can get banned for that and posting in spam threads. that is why I don't post there like that plus there are some real internet jackasses in the general that I would just rather not deal with well back to the portal for me

Thats a nice one madknt. Personally, I like the white outline around the word "blam" but I kinda think the shine on the badge isn't quite what it could be. It seems to cut across the badge, making the centre rank insignia harder to recognize (as there are two badges with the oak leaf insignia: Major and Lieutenant Colonel). Not trying to be mean (god knows I cant photoshop), just trying to give feedback to help you achieve perfection. Maybe I'm just wrong and my vision is messed up...who knows?

sorry I haven't posted since my last one but I have been flagging the idiots in the abuse review thread for the past few hours. there are so many of them to flag and so far i got about 1400 flags and I am still going for more. Thanks for your advice. As a matter of fact, when I have not been posting as many as I used to in the general section since 2006. I believe that it is just a matter of luck. If you get lucky, say the mod is in a bad mood, you are dead. But hey, I will follow your advice. Oh, madknt, glad to see you here. Amazingly, I found myself AWEFULLY close to RemRulzz now. He seemed to pull me away 1 week ago. Ghost, if I top him by the next update, you are the person I need to thank to. He seems to be discouraged after you finally passed him. ;) On a side note, I am ranked No.133 now which is a new high for me. Considering the huge gap (around 500 points) between No. 130 and 131, I will be happy if I manage to climb to No.131 by the next update. Also, I gained 126 points the day before yesterday thanks to the "battle for 300000" which is my new daily record. Back to the portal. ;)

Another question: how do you guys deal with trailers? I personally find it hard to get points from voting on trailers. Some trailers are so well animated, but they are so short (up to 20 seconds) which confuse me from voting. I struggle a lot from voting 1 or 2 lately. (You know the difference.) My decisions are normally based on efforts, if a trailer is super short, I would vote 1 anyway despite good animations. If a trailer does not have great animation, and the author shows efforts, I will vote 2 as long as the graphics are not that bad. But my methods are not helping me from getting the points well lately. Do you people have some other good methods that I can share?

Following the letter of the law, Trailers don't belong in the portal, they belong in the Alpha's section. I fought the good fight for a while, but eventually had to give it up. I don't even review them anymore. I blam most of 'em, but really pretty ones get a pass.
