Reasoning:

I used to play this game back when I first used to browse for random games a few years ago. It's been around THAT long. It's probably on newgrounds somewhere, but it's stolen anyway.

Good work on getting that flagged I don't know about the other one though. Not sure why this weeks TOTW has been blammed I have heard of the user carljohnson here is the flash now blammed. http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/52 2749. He called himself that because that is the protagonist in the classic GTA San Andreas, he called himself after that. Cool name but my point is why was it removed? was it against the rules? Not looking forward to new year but its soon now. Well I'm so pleased at beating the first boss in Silent Hill Home Coming a real plus to me I suck at games usually.

For the second time in my life I've spent this day at home. We usually stay in another place with other relatives, in a less populated area. And there were lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of fireworks!

Still, I spent the day at a friends last night. Since my mum was working at a cricket club and it was just members, I decided to stay there with my friends family. It was a nice night actually.

I busied myself with finishing the bedrrom project (I know, there is still painting to do, but over time I will come around and then it's a case of spending tomorrow getting the stuff from Bedroom 1, the old room, into bedroom 2, the new one.

That and my girlfriend wants to cover the walls with canvases. I wish that she'd just give me a break, because there are going to be no canvases on the walls unless I decide it. We're going to have the mother of all rows when we get a place together.

Call me sad but I'm still a little hung-over from last night, ha.

Well, it's 13:25 EDT and I've managed to pull myself out of bed and putter around the house. Figured it was time to check in and say hello, and wish everyone here a terrific 2010. 2009 was definitely a roller coaster, but I guess that's life. It's good to know that I'm starting 2010 in good company with everyone here.

As far as my celebration went - had my family over here (about 12-15 people) for food, drinks, board games, TV, popcorn - just your standard party. Since I was the hostess (and didn't have to drive anywhere) I will admit to putting down more than my share of pina coladas and rum swizzles (I like a good, dark rum - one of my few downfalls that I only succumb to on special occasions).

By the way, did you know that after about 8 or 9 of those drinks, at 2:00 AM (after everyone had left), every flash on Newgrounds is extremely funny and worthy of a 5? It was quite a hoot. Fortunately, exhaustion caught up to me and I must have fell asleep by about 3:00 or so. Woke up about 5:00 am, reclined back in my desk chair - and had no idea why I was at my computer. Didn't even bother to turn it off - just wandered into the bathroom, offloaded some of the processed rum, and then managed to find the bedroom and catch some sleep.

It is days like these that I am grateful that I never replaced my webcam. It's not a pretty picture!

Anyway, I hope everyone had a great time last night, and that 2010 is healthy, happy and joyful for all of us!

Now, I gotta go clean up my place - and I think a shower is in order, too. See you around the Portal!

Wow, a 350 foot rainbow? That's crazy. Maybe you were watching at the wrong angle, and it appeared to be a line as opposed to the rainbow itself. The fireworks weren't bad though. They looked like a ball of light at times (too many in one place at once), but it was good otherwise.

Awesome. Popcorn, board games, rum, what else would you want? (Scotch maybe...) And I like the darker rums too. Much more flavor. I also am a big fan of spiced rum, such as good ol' Captain Morgan. Around here would be the point where I quip "I've had a little Captain in me," but that would sound just a bit gayer than I would prefer. :-)

Cool to see lots of people posting here I did not celebrate the new year, but then I never do. I noticed a few Kitty Krew stuff in the portal but don't know if there back again cool if they are. Not done much B/ping but annoyed that Silent Hill Home Coming is really hard great game though. This will be my first post for 2010. Hopefully this year I will get more b/p I level up next month so that is cool start to this new year.

For one, I think I'm finally getting the hang of the roster, I seemed a lot easier this time around, as not a lot of users gained milestones... And I was disappointed to see that NO-ONE received a promotion. Due to the holidays being upon us, I guessed that you guys were just too busy to B/P, so I put it down to that instead of me just messing up the roster. Haha.

I take it you don't use a script or anything to do the list, wouldn't think so considering it isn't a very big list at all. Just finding the time to do it I suppose.I actually went up a rank if that puts your mind at ease :)

Secondly, Even though I do distinctly remember DumbassDude being a part of the EGB earlier last year.... I can't seem to pull up the records, so if you don't mind, I've added you as a new member.... Just for the time being. However, I'd like to congratulate Dingo for coming aboard and I hope he can stay a part of this club for a while.

However, we play it on the PC. I was wondering, if your computers and your wallets are up for it, if you wanted to get the game and we could all play against each other sometime since it's a brilliant game. However, if Call of Duty isn't your style.... I still think we should have an EGB match of Counter - Strike : Source, sometime in the new year!

Sorry, but neither my computer nor wallet are up for it! Since I mostly use consoles for gaming, I don't really care about my computer being better as long as it can load a web page.

That's perfectly fine with me. I've been living life and having fun. These are what I get when I deposit my experience each day.

As far as New Years goes, I've been really busy. I participated in a few things that I can't mention because I'm going to be a teacher here in a year and a half. :P I then went on to sled down the hill nearby. First I stuck with the regular sleds, went to snowboarding the regular sleds, then pulled out things such as pool rafts and tubes.

I guess it can be said that I'm still recovering physically. Woke up the next day with a dislocated shoulder, which I didn't figure out until the end of the day. (Just figured it was sore) Hopefully I can just walk today. :P

Also, some great college football games this week. It's easy to say it's been a great week.

Way to go, Lizz! It's the of a brand new era!

I'm happy that I could bring this roster to you, as I think that it is a great one to post. Mainly for the fact its the first to be posted, or that I have posted and the EGB has received, in a new decade!

And I'm happy that you're happy - which means you're happy that I'm happy that you're happy, which means that I'm happy that you're happy that I'm happy that you're happy...oh, we're all just SOOOO happy!

Haha. While this is all good and well, there was a few things I wanted to point out in the roster.

Since a few of you were having a laugh and a joke about the "Top Gainers, Repeat offenders" part of the roster... Since I'm a killjoy and like ruing your fun (Muhaha) I've changed it to repeat Appearances. I think it looks better, but its up to you guys and what you think. It's your roster. Haha.

Hey, I don't mind being called a a "repeat offender" - but after 12 months in a row, doesn't that classify it as a career choice?

So yeah. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, and a very happy new year. I hope that 2010 is going to be a great year. I have a feeling its going to be an eventful one.... But a good one. I hope you guys didn't drink TOO much (Yes byte, I'm looking at you! You and your rum! xD) and that you have recovered from the marathon of drinking you must have been doing!

I'm feeling much better now, thank you. Actually, I was feeling pretty good the entire time. Wonderful thing about rum - I don't seem to get hangovers from it. A little tired, maybe - but nothing debilitating. Not a big drinker, really - at best, I consider myself a "social" drinker - and only if I'm not driving. If I drink 5 or 6 times a year, that's a lot for me. But when I do - well, sometimes, I do make up for lost time...hehehe

The last thing I would like to mention, is that I have recently and almost purposely (Hehe) got EagleRock into playing Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 2. It seriously rocks... I mean... Wow. However, we play it on the PC. I was wondering, if your computers and your wallets are up for it, if you wanted to get the game and we could all play against each other sometime since it's a brilliant game. However, if Call of Duty isn't your style.... I still think we should have an EGB match of Counter - Strike : Source, sometime in the new year!

Well, my hand-to-eye coordination is just just a shade better than an epileptic with parkinson's disease trying to feed himself during a seizure. (No offense here - just trying to show comparative coordination skills). My claim to fame is to be the fastest one fragged in any Halo or COD I've ever played. I guess spinning in circles, shooting randomly until out of ammo is really a poor defense. I tend to get engrossed in the "wow, that's great realism. What's over there? How far are the game boundaries?" I like to play the "explore and solve" games (think Myst, etc). But when you're wandering around aimlessly, staring at the artwork, the other players tend to use you as target practice.

So yeah... Out with the old, and in with the new... I wish you all a great new year and I hope that it's a good one.

Actually, that picture was taken about 4 in the morning while my friend and I were assembling furniture in my new home. We both were tired as hell and I took an epic pose as he took a shot on his iPhone. Naturally, he had to put it up on Facebook, so I grabbed and have been using it since. :-)

I happen to think that it beats Jimmy Carr's two word joke "Dwarf Shortage" by some distance.

I busied myself with finishing the bedrrom project (I know, there is still painting to do, but over time I will come around and then it's a case of spending tomorrow getting the stuff from Bedroom 1, the old room, into bedroom 2, the new one.

Nice. It's always nice to finish something off just before the new year so you can feel like you have accomplished something and that you can start something new in the new year! Just a question, how long did it actually take you? From start to finish?

Well, from start to finish, counting all of the time that I spent doing other stuff as is customary in the run up to Xmas, it has taken me some 15 days to strip one wall, patch up the holes, paper over the top, paint the ceiling and three other walls (I need to touch up some spots here and there, still), buy and assemble a bed, move the furniture around and get the computer up and running in my old bedroom, now referred to as the Study, until I get the old bed out of there and relocate my weights to that room :P

Nice, I've pushed past 68k and now as I've noted in the B/P thread, I should be up to 23rd within the week. Then the pursuit of gfoxcook starts in earnest. Will he beat me to 70k? At the moment, it looks improbable, but all it takes is for him to come back and have a good few days at the helm to beat me to that one.

Phantom has awoken again, possibly due to my taunting, but we'll see if his heart is in it for the long run.

Nicely placed there. I'm still some distance behind byte and Eagle, but it's not insurmountable. 11 months straight now and it shouldn't be too much of an issue to reach a full 12 months in the top 5 gainers.
