Let's watch some Backyardigans, guys. Here is an intro!
Barracks Roster as of November 1st, 2019:
I hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween; it's amazing that for 364 days out of the year, I don't see any of the kids in my neighborhood unless I'm on the road the same time they are waiting for the school buses. Weekends roll around, and no kids on bikes or playing outside or hanging out with friends. But on Halloween they seem to come out of the woodwork, at least for a little while. Some of the older kids who chaperone their smaller siblings don't even bother with costumes. A group came to my door yesterday evening, and the young man who was herding a bunch of mini Avengers asked for some candy "for his little sister who couldn't be out tonight" . No problem, but I decided to tweak him a bit and asked "So, what are you dressed up for this year"? He replied "I'm a serial killer - we look just like everyone else." Then I cracked an evil grin and said "Wow, what are the odds of two of them being on the same porch at the same time?" He snorted a giggle and moved on.
Overall, a little quieter than usual, but fun never the less.
As for the roster - @Perigrinus contacted me to let me know that he was on holiday this week, and asked if I could publish the roster for him - no problem, of course. He also let me know that between January 2020 through June 2020 he'll be doing double-duty in his classes (work/study) so he might not be as active as before. Again, no problem there. Education is very important, and I think it's great that he's working hard to improve himself. I told him not to worry, we'll cover for him, and wish him well. He will still be actively on the roster, as he will be popping in from time to time.
This update brings us two promotions: Our newest member, @ZomAlien, is now a Praporshchik (and has squeaked by @ZJ for a rank improvement), and our ROTC trainee, @TheRoboTrickster, is now a Police Lieutenant. Well done, gentlemen, and well earned! *Salutes*
@Exedor, @Guthrie and @ZomAlien continue to lead by example, actively handling all of the debris that hits the portal, answering questions and supporting the forums on a daily basis. Thank you all for your hard work and dedication - you make us all proud! *Salutes*

Aw, we don't really do Halloween here, though it seems like every year kids get more interested in it. We've had trick or treaters a couple times.

These are better stats than I usually get, so that makes me happy. It's weird, I seem to be at the top of my game, when school is at its most intense, seeing as how I seem to have increased in sctivity gradually, with my lowest point being during the summer.
