...noooot exactly. The music may be from there, but the relief animation is too choppy. It probably came from here, tho that one has lyrics. Still, it seems like a meme, so I'm ok pullin it, since it's obvious that the main draw of this, the Tou Hou relief animation, was taken from elsewhere. :)

That rule only applies to the art portal, not the game/movie portal. However, it might go under the "Do not submit pictures in a slide show format." rule, but that rule is not enforced that much, because of the spam culture of Newgrounds. I'd let it be, but also v0ted appr0priately.

True. You can make movies with just about anything and you still made them yourself. But if you pose some asset on some program you downloaded somewhere, you made nothing yourself, you just moved it around.

The rules are not always black/white. They're designed to remove that which hurts or doesn't benefit the site, without removing everything. Slideshows with no effort- gone. However, something that a new artist put effort into, but still is a story told by a bunch of non-animated drawings and images might remain, because it's still a story told by his or her drawings.

Has the creator confirmed it themselves? They don't have any links to the Newgrounds account on their social media, and there have been cases where people have impersonated animators before, like that time when someone was posting Jaiden Animations' and Jaiden only found out like 1-2 years later.

Looks like the portal page got an aesthetic revamp. Think it looks alright, though the UJ section being limited to 50 entries and the resulting asymmetry at the bottom of the page is, let's say, sub-optimal.
Edit: looks like the UJ links no longer darken after you click them. That's... very annoying, for tracking which ones you haven't voted on yet.
Edit again: never mind, the link thing is working now.

IMO, I kinda miss the old portal gang which was the image of the newgrounds characters in a group. But the new portal has a kinda cyber aesthetic in to it
Ok guys, I let this one go without saying anything yesterday, because I was a bit confused and I found Chilean Marge kinda hilarious, but now it's clear to me that it most definitely should be removed.
I feel like the reason is pretty obvious.

From what Tom said on Discord, I'm not sure. Ivan is thinking of redoing the picture so it might be replaced in that sense, but I think that might be it. I could be wrong, of course. I like it though, it fits the site's recent aesthetic and I like to think of it as showing NG City (even tho there don't seem to be any references but we'll see what happens). I've been using the portal today, this update has really got me hooked on it. I never reallu used to use it before.
